If I can put in a feature request, it'd be nice to be able to change who the commentators refer to these guys as during matches. I'm way more okay with having Tensai referred to as the Superstar than Tensai for example.

@dynomytcaw, the sound file format hasn't been figured out as yet. I think you need a dev sdk to be able to edit it.

@vincerusso, I'm still looking into it but put of ideas for now. All me attrempts to edit the save has failed

As for xpacker request i would love to be abel to edit ingame wrestlers names

You can already, just edit the string.pac in dlc5, Ive changed The Giant,Curt Hening, Syxx and Scott Steiner so they no longer say (n.W.o) after the name.

how do i extract dds files from a pac file then edit it them in paint.net

You have to open 000C.pac using texture archive option and the extract the color.dds from the texture archive

Wow this post was a great way to get the day started :D  so to be clear this means we can change the shape of the models and export them to use in the game? Also in the future maybe you can add all the features of xpacker and x ray into one program like brienj's that would be awesome if possible. When is the official release date?

I'm loosely reading the word "impossible." I know there will be a day where that model exporter code will be cracked by none other than you Tekken. But, very much congratulations on the work of the new X-Rey. Such advancement is breathtaking. There can't be enough gratitude expressed for the work you have blessed us all with and will continue to do so.

Thanks guys.

@koolgus, it cannot be done. Like I mentioned before there are assemblies and frameworks in x-rey which breaks the functionality in X-Packer. In order to combine both programs, I would have to recode large sections of X-Packer which already work fine.

I would rather spend my time coding new functionality into X-Rey.

I haven't seen the program you mentioned, is there another program which can open pac files and also do model edits?

Love it. I still think it's absolutely incredible to see something like this in the works, as I never thought we would after brienj's never came to fruition. Amazing work here, dude. You're opening up an entirely new dimension when it comes to modding. I'm liking the name of it too.

As soon as anything is available, consider my donation made.

We can inject a SS head correct? Anyone try?

You mean like replacing the Superstar Heads textures? I don't know. I've been trying to see if anybody's made any progress with those myself. Personally, I can't say I've gotten anywhere with them.
