I was triying to uncompress a file compressed last year with brienj´s tool:

-Entrance01.pac

Tried with uncompress for Zlib.

The program says me succesfull or whatever and error message.

But a useless file is created with 0 kb.

 

If it´s usefull here is the dialog:

Para habilitar la depuración Just In Time (JIT), el archivo de configuración de esta
aplicación o equipo (machine.config) debe tener el
valor jitDebugging establecido en la sección system.windows.forms.
La aplicación también se debe compilar con la depuración
habilitada

Por ejemplo:

Cuando esté habilitada la depuración JIT, cualquier excepción no controlada
se enviará al depurador JIT registrado en el equipo

If you are using the uncompress function under the utilities menu, you need to remove the zlib header from the file fist (first 16 bytes). If you uncompress the zlib file from within the pach file, you dont need to remove the header.

the problem is zlib program included in x-packer 9 ...I have found something better to compress and decompress zlib (my ps3 worked in zlib now ...before no)

 

try uncompress  as suggested by tekken ..,in the case you don't uncompress with x-packer  ,   I'll help you

Finally I uncompress the Entrance files, changed Epac for EPK8 and opened in X-Packer. tried to replace an entrance file for other similar and the program says injected successfull and then crashes and the Entrance file corrupted.

The problem could be that you have changed the header from epac to epk8, usually this is only for wrestler pac files.

 

Try leaving the header as epac and opening the entrance file using the "Pac with directories option" - (ctrl + r)

I´ll try changing the header and let´s you know.

About opening with directories; I tried that, but I see some slots numbers and others not. There is spaces between it. Some with a sign others in white. And I´m confused with that.

By the way I´m making a list with what number entrance is in hex for the preset entrances to know what can be changed.

Last year I changed it easily, I hope this year too.

I tried multiple things. Opening with directories, without it. in XPAC in XPK8, but never works, with the files compressed in bpe, using the same file extracted, etc.

Always injected succefull and then. the message of error about the pac file format and the file if is 27 megas now is 500kb.

 

I´ll send you the files tonight. (In my country)

Been trying to get the ps3 save working but not having any luck at all. I've tried making changes to the first zlib file and compressing and injecting it back into the game but no luck. Also tried with the first zlib decompressed, all files decompressed, injected into an existing zlib file but the game just gets to the blue WWE loading logo.

 

I'm out of ideas and for now it looks like 2k14 support for the ps3 will not be possible :(

X-Packer 9 beta 3 has been released in the first post. New features include

 

- Caw injection for xbox, fixed the previous issues and it is confirmed working.

- Chetc editing

- Support for editing the entrance pac files.

Basically the procedure for injecting caws:

 

1. Create a caw in your game in the slot you want to inject into. 

2. Open the other persons save file using the "Caw Info" option.

3. Extract the caw info for the slots you want to inject into your game.

4. Open your save using the "Caw Info" option

5. Inject the others persons caw info into the slots for the caw's you want to inject.

6. Resign the other person's cas files with your console and profile id.

7. Copy your save and the resigned cas files onto your console.

I must be missing something tek because I get an error that says file must be the same size as original.

Also Tekken I have a caw my son created but his save file got corrupted. I still have the cas file, anyway to inject that one? Or am I screwed without a saved file?

You must be opening the save file using the wrong command. Did you follow this tutorial:

 

 

You must have the save file to import a cas file into the game. Try opening the save file in x-packer, it may open even if the game says it's corrupt.
