Can you search your game folders to ensure you don't have a duplicate of the createmode.pac file elsewhere ?

I have looked at the MovesID.data files provided in Data Editors for 2K17 / 2K18 / 2K19 and had a go cross referencing moves that are not listed in 2K19 anymore, this is what I've found.... i understand some of these have been ported but I think it might be of some use. I'm unsure how accurate the data files in Data Editor are. Is there any chance you could take a look at some of these moves? Thans

Thanks for the list. A lot of moves have been renamed within the last 2 years, especially with 2k19. For instance a move like Ripcord Knee Strike 1 in 2k18 has been renamed to revolution knee. At times it is difficult identifying the right move with it's name only, which is why you will see a lot of moves with their old name in Data editor and with a different name when you preview the moveset in the CAM menu.  I search using it's Hex ID as that doesn't change.

Was there ever a warrior shoulderblock finisher move like he did at wm7?  I just see he has that as a simple running strike.  Anything similar you've ever come across?

Hi,

The Shoulder block 2 move has always been assigned as a running strike since 2k14. There is none with the exact rebounding leap motion off the ropes  like he normally executed it.

The present Shoulder block 2 has been in the game since 2k16. The 2k14 and 2k15 shoulder block 2 however had a slightly different motion , especially how the character lands on the mat. The present motion is sort of how John Cena normally lands on the mat while the previous one was how the Warrior would land after the move.

Hi,

There are a few removed after 2k15, but they haven't got any mat impact sounds. I ported some in 218, like the 2k15 Vince McMahon Stunner with the 2 finger taunt, High Angle uppercut etc. One or two more Royal Rumble eliminations removed after 2k17, older versions of a few moves which have new animations.

I have come across a few hidden moves with major glitches so I didn't bother porting them. But You never know. I might have missed a few , so if users discover anything, I will look into it.

 

NOTICE FOR ALL USERS

There has been a reported issue of some of the ported moves not showing up on the CAM moves list after installing the last two minor updates and fixes after 20th April. On investigation, I have noticed this issue myself in my game.

I will advise in this case to download the createmode.pac files zip below. This is the set I posted with the main pack but with moves in the last two minor updates not listed. All the other previously ported moves in the main pack will be listed.

I am working to find a fix for this in the next few days. I will post an update then. Thank you

Hi squaredcirclefan. As I've mentioned before, thanks for doing all this. Personally I think you make the game so much better.

I almost never do requests, as I usually feel uncomfortable asking for things from people who are already providing so much, but since I'm fairly certain 2K will never patch this game again you're pretty much my only hope.

For the following issues I'll point out, I just want to note I've only installed your move pack mods, and haven't played around with moveset modding beyond that. However, I'm unaware if these issues bizarrely only affect me, or if they're present but undiscovered in other users' games.

As of right now, Sweet Chin Music 1 (corner special) is glitched in my game, in that if you ever reverse it, both combatants freeze and then fall to the mat. Michaels will then go for the pin as if he hit the move. I'm wondering if this is some sort of unexpected side effect of altering the other Sweet Chin Music animation with the fatigue drop??

Also, Corner Trapped Punches 4 is glitched, in that if you attempt the move with Mankind, the punch will not connect and the animation will not be initiated. I assume that's related to his slot issues, although the issue persists if I install Mankind in a different slot, and every other move in his moveset works absolutely fine for me. 'Tis a shame, as it's probably my favorite Foley move. I was wondering if porting an older version of the move might help...?

Finally, Tyler Driver '97 is glitched in a way that I think is just a 2K oversight. Using Tyler Driver '97 with the Pin Combo ability equipped and pressing B to initiate the pin mid-move results in the CPU kickout EVERY TIME, even when severe damage has been inflicted and a finisher would otherwise end the match. I've done extensive testing on this, and it's definitely glitched, at least on my end. It makes using Toni Storm and Ahmed Johnson a lot less fun, because to end the match with their finish, you have to essentially NOT execute the drop into a pinfall.

I don't know if some or any of these issues can be fixed, but I figured I'd at least ask and bring these to your attention! Thanks for the consideration.

So you're able to reverse Sweet Chin Music 1 without a glitch, and you've gotten pinfalls with Tyler Driver '97 pin ability? I wonder why this is affecting me then. I didn't install the createmode.pac files yet, I'm not sure how long I've had these issues but the last pack I installed was the one from late April.

Perhaps I should try a complete reinstall of the moves pack...
