Hi has anybody had a issue with game save corrupting? Basically means loading all mods back in again. It's happened to me twice 2day with a few hours and probably about 8 times in total. I use cct to add the Ch files and also to import pofos/movesets. I thought it was a issue with me using wrestleplus+ as well but just solely using cct I still seem to have a corruption. Any suggestions?

CCT stores all files in the 'mods' directory. It doesn't replace anything.

This the second time it happend.First time was just before the latest update of CCT

I tried removing CCT files and downloading again but no effect

Hm weird... Do you get that message on program start? Have you made any changes on the xml files?

Try the following:

Delete old configuration files from c:\Users\username\AppData\Local\Custom_Character_Tools and c:\Users\username\AppData\Roaming\Custom_Character_Tools and then try to restart CCT.

You have to make any changes (in settings) again after this procedure.

It worked thanks.There were files only in first location.

And yeah it was on program start.Haven't touch the xml files

Quick question, I reinstalled my game and reinserted my mods from a backup folder. Now when I try to inject a render, it tells me:

 

Error

Couldn't inject the dds file. Please make sure you run this program as Administrator.

 

I started running the file as administrator, but it made no difference. Any suggestions? Thank you for your time.

Did you check your program settings and all paths?

There will be a new CCT release tomorrow that includes some minor changes. So it is now easier to see where a pofo or moveset is being installed. In addition, it's now easier to find out which type of slot it is (DLC, unused, hidden, default or PerfectPlextra ...). Thanks to @Cave Waverider for the ideas. And, if you have "Perfectplextra" installed via CCT, the origin will be saved in the profile.dat file, so that the announcements are kept at restart!

Is there a certain way I should do it besides running the program as administrator? All the paths are set to their current locations, but It doesn’t seem to work ever since I restored the backup modded version of the game

In most cases it is a path (or access) problem. Has your game directory changed? CCT uses the oodle dll for the dds import, which is in the game directory, even the render itself are stored there. And make sure that your game isn't running or the file is opened in an external (PAC) editor while injecting new render images.

ive come across a persistent issue, when replacing Ricky Mortons render it only works sometimes. What i mean is that ill open up 2k and itll be my render. then ill open 2k a different time and itll be Ricky Morton default render. it seems to flip between the two randomly.

Hi,

Do you happen to use wrestleplus when the game is running or you rebuild the def file using wrestleplus ?

Only rebuild with CCT now since I utilize the mod folder. Is there a way I can reset CCT's settings or empty a cache that'll just restart it? I have copies of my modded renders so I'm not worried about doing it over again.

Whenever I place a pac file of a wrestler like tomasso ciampa it still says empty next to his name is that something to be worried about or will it work because i cant put his moveset in

That "empty" is hardcoded. It does not mean that this slot isn't in use. It only means that it was initially empty. That info is taken from the data.xml file.

Do you have the latest CCT version? Did you try to regenerate your chunk file? There are two possible reasons for that issue:

1. You still have the original ltag file in your chunk file (in the current version CCT uses a copy of that file in the mods folder and should remove the original file from the chunk cache file).

2. CCT wasn't able to remove the reference from the ltag file. Try to check the ltag file from the mods folder. Is it there and was the last update time the same as your last time you have changed the render? 

But first check your chunk cache file if there is another ltag type a|b file.
