Love the arena mods . Thank you. Any chance on making a classic wwf 80's early 90's arena mod. With all the ppvs and arenas  . Battle Royal at the Albert Hall.  Would be cool. The Monday night wars have alot of wcw arenas . But no survivor series  arenas . Or wrestling challenge.  Superstars. Thanks

Ok when I did a quick back up, and tried to bring that back up back, it didn't work.....I'm confused now. I had to delete my game with all its saves because of this. So how do we bring back our old saved files correctly. What did I do wrong?

Ok heres the problem. I do everything right as far as installing this great project. But for some reason when I try to use the "Backup Restore" and bring back my old original files, it still has some left overs...Yes everything comes back when I use the backup restore, but there are a few things that are left over....

Here is the smack down logo still on the ring when I restore

 

 

what am I doing wrong. Should I use the Full backup instead of the quick backup??? Sorry I'm just frustrated because this mod is so cool and I want it to work before I move on. Thanks

I am having a problem too. Some of the arenas no longer work. They have the wrong apron or ropes.  Any ideas?

When I uninstall this there are still little textures left behind such as RAW having "RAW is WAR" on the ring in a modern arena.

I don't have any plans as of right now.

However if anyone wishes to take up the cause then they can use any of my assets that they need and create a new pack. The way the mod is designed, new packs could be added into the WWETNB folder (as long as they have the right structure), and a new swap script could be added easily. I would love to see the community create "add-on" packs that add new arena packs.

I'm guessing that you all ran the "Backup (Quick)" script before the update. There was a error in the syntax of the script that caused it to backup improperly. This has been fixed with the update. Unfortunately for those who have already run the broken script, the only way to restore is either a manual backup of files, or Steam verification.

Because i dont use the other ones like wrestlemania 29 & 30, Bragging rights and the older ones like backlash or the old summerslam  
It would be great if someone can help me. I only want to update these arenas without LED-Panels

There is an asset list in the download folder that lists what various files are. You'll also need to edit your misc file manually to use the new LED panels.

I also failed to revert properly. I ran the quick backup (and it was the patched one because it's dated June), after running the backup restore the load screen changed back to Austin but the game would never load. It crashed after a while on the load screen. I installed a different package and it'd load again but I wanted to revert to begin with because it made the load times so long.

I don't believe it's as easy as doing that.. you'd have to do some misc file work for sure because it's more than just an arena file... ringmats, then all the overall stadium stuff to do in the misc file

Each arena is made up of an "entrance" pac which is unique to each arena, and then a bunch of assets which are assigned via the misc file and may or may not be shared with other arenas. Not to mention that each pack has tons of menu items edited.

What you want to do is possible, but not without rolling up you sleeves and getting your hands dirty.

Yeah 80 is too many. If my count is correct it is 54 arenas + the elimination chamber match arena + the Rumble match arena + the performance center.

At least the ones accessible through ordinary means. There are a few other slots in there (ie: backstage, hall of fame, etc) but they are glitchy and only accessible through 3rd party tools.

Wait so what you are telling us is that they are extra arenas that are not at all accessible. So if there is a backstage arena and Hall Of Fame, are those the ones that are shown in MyCareer?

Presumably. Same with the performance center. AFAIK it's only really accessible in Mycareer mode. I listed it though because I edited it to make it the NJPW dojo in the WTS pack, and the WCW Powerplant in the MNW pack.
