Super_Luigi Posted March 14, 2015 Posted March 14, 2015 Thanks for the IYH Fix + Nameplates Red! Going into my game. Keep them coming man Quote
the King Lives Posted March 14, 2015 Posted March 14, 2015 @Redrooster okay saying this again as you said you didn't see it before, but awesome stuff and this is motivating me even more to want to get a RGH Console.. i started looking into it after Bugsyboy's umpteempth time to pursuade me... I'm pursuaded. just need to find the right place to do so as i know i'm not good at working on circuitry or any of that soldering stuff. lol but this is awesome. I do have one question though. i'm sure it isn't doable: is there anyway to add the show intros from wwe12 into wwe2k14? was just curious about that. I think i've seen everything covered except that. Thanks Quote

Thanks Thanks Jeff. Unfortunately I dont think the show intros are possible. I suspect they were just bik videos that played before the first match entrance so although it would be possible to add the files to the game I dont think theres anyway to tell the game to play them at the start. Its an interesting point though, Ill have a look at how they were structured in WWE12 its possible that the code still exist to trigger them and just by adding the files it might work. Quote

It was something i thought about when i saw that you had the Show flash animation thing before the start of match. and you're welcome. Like i said i've been in and out this entire section of the forums but didn't really start giving it a second look till i started seeing WCW stuff. that normally gets my attention. Hopefully i can get a RGH within the next month or so so i can enjoy this stuff. speaking of which i've been looking at this site all day http://www.dopecustomsnyc.com/flashing--rgh--jtag.html they say for the standard jtag you have to be on dashboard version: 2.0.7371 or below now my version (360 slim) is 2.0.17150.0 it looks like it's below what they require but i'm trying to make sure. this one is a 25$ fee the other one i've been looking at is the RGH/Demon Install Service which it says i have to have 2.0.17150.0 which i have and it mentions trinity motherboard which is what i assume i have (i've never opened my 360 slim up so i don't know) what do you think? the King Lives Posted March 14, 2015 Posted March 14, 2015 back to the show intros though, yeah it definitely is interesting, cause in 2k14 when i would record my videos i would splice in the show intros and commentary from story designer before recording my first universe match. whoever said to 2k to remove the show intros (or thq) i swear i hate them lol Quote
Red Rooster Posted March 14, 2015 Author Posted March 14, 2015 The Slim can have either a Trinity or Corona Motherboard. Heres how to tell which mobo you have. Quote

bugsyboy Posted March 15, 2015 Posted March 15, 2015 Yeah the show intros were great , another great thing they took out. Thanks for the InYourHouse nameplate brother !!! Quote
Def Dave Posted March 15, 2015 Posted March 15, 2015 Red, this looks amazing. Big thanks to you and UndertakerWLF for your work. Big noob question. I have not begun to replace any arenas, just wrestlers. Is it possible for me to replace a different arena than the one associated with the bg file you have chosen to replace? I would prefer to leave all the 30 years of wrestlemania arenas mostly intact and just replace the current arenas. I'm sure this is a stupid question but I haven't found any clear info on it. Thanks again. Quote
bugsyboy Posted March 15, 2015 Posted March 15, 2015 You can replace any arenas you want as long as you change the bg number bg??.pac You also only can replace a staged arena with a staged arena same goes for no stage. Also if you want to keep the 3 color ropes that most old school wwf arenas has you have to replace an arenas that as 3 colors ropes. Thats one of the main reason we started replacing the WM arenas. The other reason is Fink name call audio , if you plan on using lordbarker sound pack the fink only announce in the WM arenas Quote
Def Dave Posted March 15, 2015 Posted March 15, 2015 Thank you for the explanation, bugsyboy. Now it makes sense. The rope 3 color issue really blows. I wasn't aware of that. Hopefully one day we can find a solution to that. I don't want to replace any of the classic wrestlemania arenas... Ugh. Decisions decisions. Lol Thanks again for the quick, concise explanation. bugsyboy Posted March 15, 2015 Posted March 15, 2015 What i do is play universe so when i get to a certain WM i will just inject that arena then delete it Quote
Titavius Posted March 16, 2015 Posted March 16, 2015 (edited) I believe the ropes are contained in a YOBJ file, just hidden like the posts and the ring mat. The Ropes YOBJ from the early WM Arenas will have three textures assigned to it. (red white a blue). The Ropes from the later WM Arenas have just one. All you'd need to do to fix the issue, for example, would be to inject the WM 4 Ropes into the Ropes slot in the WM 20 Pac. Then you'd need to create a texture archive with the red white and blue rope textures included, and inject that into WM 20 too. Then when you load up whatever Arena you replaced WM 20 with, you should have three coloured ropes. This should work for every Arena in the game. I'll test the theory later. I'm also trying to figure out the whole stage/aisle issue. There has to be some kind of value in the BG Pac itself. There's something in there that is telling the game that the BG Pac has a stage, and so subsequently, any entrance animations will feature a stage. I'm going to compare two BG Pacs and see what I can find out. Edited March 16, 2015 by Titan83 Quote
Def Dave Posted March 16, 2015 Posted March 16, 2015 Thanks, Titan. I look forward to your findings. Quote
Andy Posted March 16, 2015 Posted March 16, 2015 Great in your A House Arena ! Thx Taker and Rooster. Quote

The stage/ramp and 3 coloured ropes are tied to the arena slot somehow, if you inject a 3 coloured rope arena into a 1 coloured rope arena slot you will only get 1 coloured rope regardless of the fact that it is the 3 coloured rope yobj and the 0190 has 3 rope textures. bugsyboy Posted March 17, 2015 Posted March 17, 2015 Those and importing moves are probably the 2 most important things left to discover. I hope one of you nerds figure it out Quote

UndertakerWLF Posted March 17, 2015 Posted March 17, 2015 I'm looking at the moves thing as I type....just trying to locate them.... The rope issue though...I think something else is controlling the colour combination otherwise the pac file would work as it should and the colours would stay in place when injected over a current arena, instead the the ropes are either being coloured Red or White depending on the arena it's being injected into. Although I am sure that I have come across the rope models before and the arenas with the Red/White/Blue rope combination have more rope models than the current arenas. Quote

I found the moves and how to figure out which is which. Have a read of my post Im convinced the key to it is the m3 file and parts of the PRM.pach which is inside it but I havent had a chance to have another look at it. Quote
