  1. Hello everybody, it is my pleasure to share something original with this community that I have discovered all by myself. I'm very excited to give back to the community from which I have learned so much in the past few years. Back in late 2016 I began thinking how can this be done. In the summer of 2018 I made first real attempts to make it happen with X-Packer 2017 v7.0.0 but it sadly just did not work and I gave up in the following days. Now fast-forward to February 2020 I once again decided to revisit the topic and decided to give another go using the methdod I used back in 2018. Nothing changed. First off I must say that I'm not a programmer or a hacker. I can't code. I can't make any tools therefore all of this requires no tools anyhow I kept thinking and thinking, inspecting how PS3 version of the game save is made and how it is structured. What got my gears turning was this information posted by @mean dalenko which was even unrelated to the PS3 CAW injection since it deals with created arenas. So logically thinking these files should be responsible for CAWs: CAS.00 - CAS.99, CASHED.DAT and CAS.LST. From @kim666 discovery I learned that you can enter /dev_hdd1:HDD:1/ folder where uncompressed files of the game save are dumped once you launch the game. Did you know that if you open your CAW in the CAW editor the game decompresses the CAS.XX file in above mentioned folder which expands usually to about 60 MBs in size. Well after seeing that I decided to switch those files with another CAW I wish to replace but that did not work at all. After many attempts I came to the conclusion that messing with individual CAS files will not do it. And then there is this CASHED.DAT file. One file that always is uncompressed when the game is launched to the /dev_hdd1:HDD:1/ folder and its size is only 180 MB. It turns out that file holds the complete CAW model data. That is minus moveset, name, attire names and entrance. So I decided to try and do exactly this to the WWE 2K14 game 🤣 The tutorial begins here. You obviously must have PS3 with CFW for this to work. 1. Resign the downloaded PS3 game save to your PS3 console using this neat homebrew software - Apollo Save Tool. 2. Load the WWE 2K14 game with the save which has the CAWs that you want to inject INTO YOUR MAIN SAVE. 3. After the game loads go to Create a CAW list and note the number of the CAWs you wish to import and how many attires they have. For the sake of this tutorial let's say I want to inject a CAW which is slot #73. 4. Using a FTP client go into PS3' /dev_hdd1:HDD:1/ and download CASHED.DAT file. After that quit the game. 5. Load the WWE 2K14 game with your main save where you want to inject these new CAWs to. 6. After the game loads go to Create a CAW list and copy any CAW which has all 4 attires to the slot #73. 7. Go into /dev_hdd1:HDD:1/ and RENAME CASHED.DAT file to CASHED.DAT-org. 8. Upload the CASHED.DAT file you downloaded earlier in Step 3. 9. Navigate the CAW list and open CAW in slot #73. You will see that the CAW loaded is the one you want to inject! 🤩 Not so fast just yet. 10. After the CAW full loads go back into /dev_hdd1:HDD:1/ and RENAME CASHED.DAT (which you just uploaded) file to CASHED.DAT-source. 11. RENAME CASHED.DAT-org file to CASHED.DAT. 12. Take the controller, give the CAW it's real name, input other details and save it. 13. Repeat steps 7-12 to inject another CAW and do so until you inject all of those which you want. That's it! The CAWs' model has been successfully injected into your main save! 🤯 X-Packer cannot be used to transfer that CAWs' moveset (by injecting .moveset files), entrance, bio nor attire names. You will have to do that manually. I suggest you to load the source save and take your phone and snap a few pictures with the information of the particular CAW like this. P.S. Ring announcer name: Horse 🐎 🤣🤣 And manually enter that data when you load your main save. Now regarding the moveset transfer - there is a way. You must first copy the moveset of the CAW you wish to export to a superstar (ex. Zack Ryder) then take the uncompressed SAVE.DAT file from /dev_hdd1:HDD:1/ open it in X-Packer via decrypted save PS3 -> Moveset and entrance option and extract the moveset then load you main save inject the moveset to a superstar and from there copy it to a CAW and restore original superstars' moveset. Voila. Took me 3-4 days to copy 50 CAWs to my save. Now regarding ARENA injection. You have to use the same logic as you inject CAWs but you must perform all the switching with CAAHED.DAT file and not CASHED.DAT (which is for CAWs). You simply feed the source decompressed CAAHED.DAT to the game when you open an arena in C-A-A mode and once it is opened put back in your original CAAHED.DAT and save and it becomes yours. Only downside I noticed so far is that if the arena is done using apron glitch trick - those do not get saved therefore you must reglitch if you have the apron logo. One more important detail I'd like to draw your attention to is if an arena that is in your target save has different initial settings (stage, audience, venue size, filter) you must change those prior into going into CAA to match your target arena. Now you ask where do I get some saves? I got you covered too!! Download this WWE 2K14 PS3 Save pack (initially reuploaded by @N'Jadaka and probably includes the work done by @mean dalenko, @MeanGeneSimmons, @BernieLomax, @RDK, @kim666, @Judders and others) from here: https://mega.nz/folder/KEFxEI6R#ThXiiafl-fl3aAtpFcTvBg Each save has lots of CAWs and Arenas and I took the time to print each of the out just for all of you!!! There you will find 6 saves: • WWF '84-'91 • WWF '92-'96 • WWF '97-'02 • WCW '89-'94 • WCW '96-'01 • Impaler's mixed save Now I just only wish that somebody would come forward and figure out how to port moves from WWE 2K15 and 2K16 into 2K14 and make that game LEGENDARY.

  3. I finally found a way to use my mods! It takes a lot of patience, you lose your save but DLCs stay, but what you need to do is go to this link https://steamdb.info/depot/1255631/manifests/ This link takes you to steamdb, which is a website where you can download older versions of a game on seam. If the link takes you to the right spot scroll down under previously seen manifest. Select the little squares beside the "13 December 2022 – 18:54:57 UTC1.7 years ago3380407626717401878" section. SteamDB asks you to open steam console which select open steam console. When in Steam console hit ctrl+V and hit enter. Now steam is redownloading the previous version of wwe2k22 in your files. The file location is in steamapps/content/app_1255630/depot_1255631/ and you'll see the old files. This is 51.9 Gbs so it takes a bit, because it's pretty much redownloading te game. To check its progress right click app_1255630 or depot_1255631 and hit properties. It should say the size of the file. It can be very finicky and stop downloading because of internet. Sometimes it stops without telling you in the console, so just keep checking properties and see if the file size changes. If it doesn't change it stopped downloading. If that happens repeat the steps to start the download again. It should say that the download is completed in the steam console. Once it's done replace the files in the wwe2k22 folder with the files in the depot. Then download the patcher and run it as administrator. Now you need to stop the game from updating. First thing is to go to steam and select 2k22 and click the gear and go to properties and hit updates. Select update this game when I launch it. The second thing to do is you need to go to steam apps and find the appmanifest_1255630 file. Right click and hit properties and select read only. Now steam can't update the game. Now what I do to start the game is go to the wwe2k22 folder and run the wwe 2k22 exe. Congratulations you can mod wwe 2k22 again. Though like I said you lose your save, but not dlcs! If you feel like playing the newest version of 2k22 just uncheck the read only in appmanifest_1255630 file and verify the game files in steam and it should replace all the files with the new updated files, that you can't use mods in. If anyone needs help, I'll try to monitor this topic to help people.
