  1. I'm not sure if any of you have been following @TheVisitorX and his thread in the WWE2K23 forum regarding his latest version of Sound Editor. But something amazing has happened.......I asked him if there were any way he could incorporate 2K14's audio files into the Sound Editor and HE DID IT!!!! With the latest version of SE, you can now open the Game_Sound_M.pck file from 2K14 and listen to all the sound files in the game, including entrance calls, commentary, sfx and more! What's more, he incorporated an AI program that will automatically scroll through and identify (name) the audio files! Here's an example: Do ya'll realize what a game changer this is?? My dream has been to edit the commentary for 2K14 (Wrestling Legends) and this gets me one step closer. Now, currently, you still aren't able to IMPORT new WEMS into 2K14 via the Sound Editor.............YET. I emphasize 'yet' because I don't think it'll be long until he figures that out. At least, that's what I'm praying for! Right now, if you want to import new WEMS into the game you still have to do so via HEX editing. I've made a very easy-to-follow tutorial that you can find on my YouTube channel and in a previous thread, but it's still a cumbersome task. I've made a donation to him for his work, and I would encourage anyone else who still loves (and mods) 2K14 to do the same. Here's the link to his thread where you can download the latest version of SE.

  3. Sound Editor 1.5.0.0 has been released! Changes in this version: Added: - Sound-Import (still WIP, please leave feedback!): Finally, full support for 2K14 PCK files! (It is now possible to import sound files directly into a 2K14 archive - please note that this only works with files specifically created for this version!) - Sound-Converter: Support for conversion to 'Legacy' files (files for 2K14) has been added - Sound-Converter: Volume has been optimized and renamed to 'Volume-Boost'. The slider has been adjusted and now ranges from 0 (no change) to 40dB. 2K14 requires very high values here, so the range has been extended. Please donate if you like my work and want further updates!

  4. Correction: For 2k23 the values are the following: 00 = Cruiser 01 = Light Heavyweight 02 = Heavyweight 03 = Super Heavyweight 04 = ULTRA Heavyweight With Ultra heavyweight not displaying properly, but having the effect of a heavier person than a super heavyweight. (Think Andre)

  5. Today's new patch 1.08 has indeed broken the original but that's usually the case when games get an update so it's no biggie. The check boxes are already updated on my personal version of the script that I'm working on and will hopefully release tonight if I have time to finish up the other little goodies I am trying to add. Yes, the private version I'm working on already is going in that direction. Currently there's going to be some troubleshooting you (the user) may need to do though, like sometimes when you get to a grid styled character select (or championship select) screen, you may need to toggle a couple boxes on my script and then refresh the screen either by backing out or by clicking the RButton to tab categories and then tab back. My goal is for the public version to NOT need those extra little steps (I prefer a "turn it on and forget about it" approach), but we'll see what happens. (ps: I already have Matt Riddle as my Raw Womens Champ after he put a beat down on Charlotte like she stole his ounce.) Yeah that's one of the things that gets fixed hopefully in my next release later tonight or tomorrow. Also, in my early testing, the next release appears to fully work with Universe Mode's automated booking features, meaning IT WILL automatically book men against women and IT WILL book male vs female rivalries correctly!

  6. I have no interest in that field myself but I'm so happy for you. I understand the joy you are feeling. I hope one day somebody does the same thing to impoting moves into 2K14 then it will be my turn for an epic mark out

  7. Sorry dude I’ve been really busy otherwise I would have helped you out with your previous request, but I guess you don’t need that anymore with the new sound editor. Imagine if you’re able to import WEMs, that would be sweet.

  8. Thanks for the shout out. Glad some people have taken an interest in my little project. Also just a quick weight class note, in my brief 2k23 testing it seems they still have a hidden max weight class that went unused and in the past games was called "Ultra Heavyweight" but now simply is blank (no name) when you switch to it. Off the top of my head, I think... setting the weight class byte to 03 = Super Heavyweight and setting it to 04 = Ultra Heavyweight (but the weight class name is shown as blank) ...and when you set somebody to the 04 weight class, even the heavyweights and super heavyweights seem to have trouble throwing them around! If I remember right, several years back it was Andre the Giant that had this max "ultra" weight class and then for several years it was like they forgot all about that weight class even though it's still in a lot of the games. In fact, some years it's hidden but STILL has its correct name instead of being blank when you switch to it with Cheat Engine! Funny side note: The 2k journey through their left over coding in wrestling games from year to year is actually quite fascinating when you start digging into things! There were even some years where the Special Referee match was still in the game coding but just NOT available as a playable match! (but if you used Cheat Engine you could force it to work and even the announcer would say special referee match! So the whole match WAS actually there! LOL) That old 40 Man Royal Rumble they had one year also remained in the programming in later years if you knew how to activate it with Cheat Engine.
