  4. I've started naming id's in the ring announcer files for those who plan to do custom callnames. Can't say when it'll be finished though with work and whatnot getting in the way.

  5. Hi Folks. Super sorry it took me forever to post my last mods. Lots of personal tidal waves, but all is good. Updates on the first post as always. Thanks to all my homies for their help making 2k19 the wrestling game to play. @J N, @matt2282p, @mattfick, @B4G.TV and @BlindedByTheGrace really made modding fun and were super helpful and supportive. While I'm still gonna be around, I don't know if I'll have any more wrestler mods to contribute. I guess we'll see. Cheers all. Parting gift is an edit of the Sting jacket that he wore at WW3 '95

  6. Sound Editor 2022 has been discontinued, use the new "Sound Editor" universal instead:

  7. So basically I followed all of the required steps, from downloading the correct WWISE version and setting its directory, to converting my MP3 files to WEM. The issue here is now when I want to choose an audio to replace by importing the new .WEM file, it gives me an error message at the bottom left saying “Error: couldn’t inject file”. Any solutions to this? I’ve been using sound editor since WWE 2K18 and have always followed the correct steps, but this is a first for me. Thank you!

  9. If you're talking about custom yobj's, then you need the nif plugin for 3dsmax. I'm not sure if there is an equivalent nif plugin for blender.

  10. As of now someone on pwm has made a mod with a tool so it may be sooner then you think

  11. I second this. Custom music isn't quite the same without the trons and minitrons.

  13. Although definitely @BlindedByTheGrace is a guru but I will give slightly more margin to partial compatibility but one thing that makes his statement a lot stronger is related to some bone movements. I have noticed some bone movements are a lot more improved in wwe 2k22 and the huge size difference that caused some moves look funny are handled a lot better .And just like they added an extra bone in face for 2k20 and made expression data useless in wwe 2k19 I think yes there is a possibility they have changed rigging somewhat. But that's not my domain so take it as a layman rambling.

  14. Hi, There is a limit when it comes to modding these games. We can only work with what has been put in place by the developer and within the limits of the game's code. We haven't been able to mod AI behavior as the data is quite complicated and previous attempts in the past have led to other issues or undesirable results. It is much more difficult to add items to the game's menu without replacing with the file structure implemented since 2k20 , unlike previous games before then. You also cannot animate moves and add it to the game. Moves require additional files to make them wotk in gameplay. The only thing you might be able to motion capture is the base animation but that alone will not work in gameplay. Also bear in mind that since they have moved over to motion captures rather than the hand crafted motions used in the SVR games, its much more diifficult to hack move animations. Its not like it was when modding data in the SVR series. You wouldn't be able top add any moves to 2k22 as the files you might probably want to bring over from other games isn't compatible. basically any motions from 2k20 and previous can't be ported over to 2k22 as its like an entirely new game in many respects. Visual Concepts breaking their partnership with Yukes a few years ago has meant having to recreate a lot of assets using new tools.

  15. A first data update has been released. It is based on the official data source (Entrance Editor). More will follow when I have time to sort out all received data.

  16. Even if I repeat myself, I would like to thank everyone again for the nice messages and all the donations. That really blew my mind! Within a few hours I already had several offers for help regarding the data and even finished xml files. Since it is difficult to answer everyone directly, I would like to do this here. I will review and merge the data and try to credit everyone who contributed in the changelogs. It's really a great community with many very helpful and friendly people! Please wait with further data until the next update has been released. So that we have an overview of what still needs to be added.

  17. Thank you very much @TheVisitorX, wonderful work as always! I've added a link to this new version to the Sound Editor Wiki page. Enter the theme names in Sound Editor, close it send your custom_data.xml to @TheVisitorX so he can include the data with the tool.

  18. I haven't had the time to test it yet, but some user here has mentioned that it's possible this year without patching, but I'm not sure.

  19. My issue is that modders had 3 and half years to crack open 2k19 and we have still been making new discoveries and opening up new options on that game—even really recently. It doesn't seem like we ever made anything close to as much headway on any other game and might never again. Since the game comes out every year, it seems like all previous progress just gets dropped in favor of the newest game. For that reason, I think I would kind of rather see modders port over the entrances and character models from 2k22 to 2k19 rather than spend their time beating their heads against the brick wall of a game with an unfriendly file structure. I'm sure that's not a popular opinion.

  22. Howdy folks, just wrapping up the last of my mods before calling it a day on the wrestler front. I still have minitrons to make, but I think this is it for the attires that I'll be contributing. First up I did an edit to the Bret jacket that I've been using to go with any attire. Note that I'm using @J N's mod in the picture, but I won't be releasing the jacket with his mod. Just on the base SVR 2011 mod I did. The other is a 2006 Finlay using the 2k16 model. I couldn't find that classic Warrior in green tights, so I made him :). And lastly, did Luger 99 heel before the haircut. I think that is all. I did a conversion of Big John from 2k14, but I think there's been a few releases of him already. All coming soon.
