So there are a fair amount of issues to modding 2K20 right this moment. It feels like back to basics right this moment so I created a file list that I plan to add additional information from the baked files as they are found: 2K20 Files Sheet The memory addresses seem to shift for the Pofos and movesets so I might release a super basic cheat table for manual injection and extraction. It will require some recoding of things for eventual Plus integration. 2K20 Memory Sheet (Still in progress) 2K20 String Sheet (Modded Values to be Verified) - Super Pofo Extract - Super Moveset Extract6 points

I will not buy it, for a legends fan is a shit game, will port new hogan into wwe2k19 and nothing more from that shit. wwe2k19 with the top Quality moders is better than wwe2k20 yukes6 points

This tutorial it's for who want to see superstars entrance in 60fps. Keep in mind that when the match starts, the game will be in 2x speed/fast motion (not sure why, but the entrance will be in normal motion), so it is not very recommended if you going to play serious. REQUIREMENTS: WWE 2K20 (brah) Cheat Engine Tutorial: open the game select a 8 man match or less with entrance on(quicker you are, better) open Cheat Engine select 'WWE2K20_x64' search for the value '30' find the address '77FF706A0B9D8' (btw isn't that hard to find) after that, just change the value to 60, LOL. DONE! the game will be in 60fps during the entrances...maybe works in cinematic scenes as well (not tested) that's it, i'm new in 2K modding stuff, I created a account on this forum just to share that. (if i ended up breaking any rules in this post, please let me know, cuz it was not intentional)5 points

Thank you for your feedback. Maybe I will release a new version for 2K20. Without major changes, just a new version number so that new people could better find the tool. The data.xml file should not work anymore, as they usually adjust the sound ids with each release. That would mean that all sounds in the archives are no longer labeled. Maybe someone would like to update it? The patch for the menu music shouldn't work and would have to be adapted. Since I will not buy 2k20 for the time being, however, I can not do much there.5 points

2k20 will be a hard pass for me. Shoot, I’m still installing mods into 2k19 and having a blast with it. I figure the shelf life of last year’s game has at least another year in it, and there’s not much appeal at all in 2k20 for me, aside from Hogan. In regards to the stellar modding community here and some of you HOF modders, I don’t blame you at all for passing on this year’s version. I’d gladly continue donating towards your hard work on 2k19 than to give 2k my money for a poorly repackaged game.5 points

Well, either way tonight I'm clearing space on my hard drive. And tomorrow I'll start to find out if I bought a new game or spent $90 for the right to back-port Molly Holly 😨. The only reason that I've been holding out hope that 2K20 would be modding-viable is because I have a really fun idea for a big mod project utilizing the DLC. For that reason I haven't written off the game entirely yet. But staying with 2K19 is seeming more and more likely. Especially if people are willing to keep investing in figuring out how to do more with the game.4 points

I buy 2k15 to 2k19 on PC.This year,I not buy.Lazy game developers don´t deserve my money.4 points

Unfortunately you're right! So far, there was some argument for an upgrade every year, but this year ... except for Hogan, who is finally back, there are no "must haves" in 2k20, at least for me ... Everything has gotten worse for me, even the graphics. Once again a lot of legends have been removed (and I only play with these ...). So this year I will definitely not buy the game on release, even though I'm sorry for those who use my tools. Also, I suspect that modding (at least as it currently is) - anyway sooner or later - will no longer be possible, since Yukes is now out.4 points

I tried out sound editor from 2k19 on 2k20 and it seems to work fine. The only issue I found is that the theme was lower in create an entrance. Should be able to adjust the volume using the tool or another tool. I subbed in Evil Ways (AJ Style's old TNA theme) for Hardcore and it worked.3 points

Quick Update: I downloaded 2K20 last night. Fired up the game this morning for a half hour before work. First Reaction: Never been so excited to leave for work.3 points

I'm not. Sticking with 2K19 for another year. Not really big on the changes made this year. They removed plenty legends that I love, the presentation is unappealing, and they have way too many goofy ass gimmicks. On top of that the gameplay looks like a step down. 2K19 has by far the best Universe mode I've had since 2K14's and the CAW selection is so great that I can easily get another year with no problem.3 points

Yup, Im with matt, looks like a pile of shit and for us legends fan theres absolutely nothing to warrant a purchase.3 points

Im not. Im not modding it either. Im staying in 19 at least for a few more months. I see no reason to wipe out everything us modders accomplished just to go with the current year. To me it looks terrible and if yukes isnt in it and they recoded it, it may be a whole new modding scheme. Also the controls are changed up as well.3 points

So Killian Dain was removed from 2K20 so, i decided to redo my mod from 2K19 with new hair and jacket.2 points

Added the memory sheet to the post above. I'll be continuing to work on it. Edit: seems that at least the movesets are static from my testing so far.2 points

Since people have been asking how they could help, here are some steps to do so (there may be better, more advanced ways to do it more efficiently, however): I've already started by deciphering a big chunk of the .pofo by comparing it to data from older games, but there is still some new data to figure out. Figuring out the rest will be the community's task.2 points

No intention of getting 2K20. Only interested in the DLC, Molly and maybe a few entrance motions. I'm sticking with 2k19 and I'm glad so many of you are too. Another year on the same game might do the community good. A lot of progress was made this year and a lot of things were figured out. More time could be put into exploring and figuring out other aspects of this game rather than waste time decrypting and porting a bunch of stuff to the new one. 2k20 not being great might work out for the greater good2 points

And also If they didn't know how to use the system, they shouldn't have touched the gameplay. I mean how in the hell do you get worse in that aspect? No matter what else you do, if the CORE of the game is shit, there's absolutely nothing I could give it credit for. I'm not even sure if they're gonna be able to patch in CAC. During denkers interview, Lynell Jinks sounded like they had no idea how use Yukes' engine at all. Nba 2k lied about a lot of things making it in to the game after launch this year. It definitely wouldn't surprise me if this game did too.2 points

I have no plans to even play the game, let alone own it. It looks like an absolute nightmare, the hit detection is bad, the hair physics are garbage(looks like the entire Visual Concepts team couldn't figure out those damn 2580s ), still no special referee match, or any of the other fan favorites that people have wanted back in since they first took them out, they had to remove the Create a Championship feature because of glitches, who knows if that will ever work properly... I was planning to try and port the few good things to 2K19, but like others have mentioned the code for the game is likely different with Yukes no longer being involved, but on top of that the graphics are SUCH a downgrade that I don't even think 2K19 lighting can save most of it. The ONLY good things I have noticed about 2k20 so far is Rock's $500 shirt model/entrance, Chyna's entrance(sort of, the pyro was weak af), Hogan's entrance, Rock's minitrons, the new stunner animation, the new retro tombstone animation, the new pin animation(opponent doesn't move around while getting pinned) THAT'S IT! O_O Granted, I'm not a fan of the modern era stuff or the goofy stuff, but that's just ridiculous... I'm extremely grateful that Yukes left us with such a highly modable, fun to play game! I think 2K19 is going to be my last WWE video game for quite some time(barring something like an amazing new engine), there's still plenty of untapped potential for 2K19, the mod tools for it are all amazing, if people are willing to read and learn, it's possible to mod damn near every major aspect of this game. WWE 2K19 is the WWF No Mercy/Here Comes the Pain of the PC era!2 points

I'll get on to helping with this in just a few. Doing some research on these .cak files. Not making much headway atm1 point

Finally got some time to check out your most recent pack of moves, I'm really enjoying those "hidden" moves that you have listed, thanks again for all the work you have put into this project, this really is one of the greatest mods for this game, in my opinion.1 point

https://drive.google.com/file/d/1rn-MaLRdR4EZq3zKSGUNcwS-sldbnCWO/view?usp=sharing So I went through all music files, and assigned the real life people. This works with SE 19 upgrading it to SE 20 pretty much. I ignored the generic themes and ppv themes, and labeled them as generic.1 point

Hi guys, I'm completely new to this, I've always played on PS4. How do I mod in themes? Or wrestlers? I've done some modding before (i.e. Mass Effect), but I don't know if it's similiar to WWE Games haha. Probably not.1 point

Idk if it's will works with a Hex Editor because it's a very specific adress in a specific time. The match will look like a Sonic Mode after the all entrances xD --- btw I was testing this in the '4 Horsewomen' Showcase Mode and the result it's that the address it's different and the audio of the cutscene will be unsynchronized1 point

Hope it works. And thanks mate1 point

That is sick! I've been wanting to see them in 60 forever.1 point

Yeah, not sure it will be fully moddable this year. Unless someone knows what tools open the .CAK files and repack them. Chances are, they've got the game set to crash if anyone messes with them too.1 point

Fair enough! I'll be hoping for a backport of Chyna personally, but beyond that, I'm just really disappointed in what I've seen, and I'm not confident the modding community will take off for this new version (and even if it does, those are a lot of losses to cover adequately, with restoring audio, animations if they've been removed... eh). But I do hope I'm wrong, and either way I hope you enjoy. One thing's for sure... your work, as well as others, will continue to find playing time on my version of 19.1 point

I wanted to apologise to everyone for the lack of caws this year, I had some personal issues and all the bugs this game had made me lose my interest and motivation in the game which is a shame because it was always one of my favorite things to do in my free time. But I also wanted to thank you all for the support throughout these past years and I'll be back this year with more caws! I can't promise I'll make them as fast as I used to because I've been really busy but I'll try to make some caws for you guys and hopefully I won't run into any bugs, glitches or problems with the game. Thank you all and I'll see you soon!!!1 point
