I personally think the face is perfect, but I think he means rather than the eyebrows have that signature scrunched Okada look, I think he’s suggesting a relaxed neutral face without the eyebrow scrunch Edit: did not realize I wasn’t on the last page of the topic, holy shit that screenshot looks amazing!!1 point

Dude, your caws are awesome, and literally the only reason I still play this game regularly. Much Respect. I'm missing quite a few, would definitely love if you reuploaded a couple guys whenever you get around to it. Obviously, I don't expect this all at once lol, but anything is appreciated! I'm hoping for - Sandman, Sabu, Dreamer, The Impact Playerz, Ron Simmons and Eddie Guerrero again, thanks dude!1 point

Whatever happened with the Petey Williams mod? Was stoked to see someone taking on Petey. Mr. Hughs is missing from the download list. I was sorry to hear that you lost your progress on Nathan Jones and Matt Morgan I do hope you revisit trying to do them again. I love to see all the other wrestlers that get neglected by most get their due and get modded to be in the game. Your Alex wright and Karma are looking great and cannot wait to play them. Thanks for all your effort and thanks for taking on the less appreciated wrestlers.1 point

Probably because the WWE 12 pac of Kane is smaller than the 2k14 pac, thats all I can think. Also you're kinda vague when it comes to what you actually did. What you coped? Where did you put it? I mean your post is as vague as saying "I put the thing in that place and something happened". There's a number of steps to adding or swapping a attire depending on what you're trying to do. Here's the steps to add alt attires in ps3 Rename pac file(I do from ch101.pac to 101.pac) Inject pachs & make sure they're numbered right (00010102, 00010104, 00010112, 00010114, etc) Update both arcs in X-Packer to add additional attires Change ch101.pac to 101.pac in both the def files using a text editor like notepad. Update the 101 slot in misc pac to have __ number of attires. Put 101.pac in the ch folder in the GAMES folder. dev/hdd0//GAMES/BLES01937-[WWE 2K14]/PS3_GAME /USRDIR/ Put the updated arc and def files in the usr folder in the game folder. dev/hdd0//game/BLES01937-[WWE 2K14]/PS3_GAME/USRDIR/ Put the updated misc file in the catalog005 folder in the game folder dev/hdd0//game/BLES01937-[WWE2K14]/PS3_GAME /USRDIR/catalog0051 point

First of all, Welcome. There's a few differences between modding ps3 and 360, most of the turorials on here are tailored to the 360. This thread here deals with some of the key differences between when it comes to ps3 modding1 point

You've told many times @Iron Man to stop your nonsense in this topic, yet again you've ignored my warnings1 point

@Iron Man/Pentagon Jr/KennyvsOmega or whatever name you're calling yourself lately, I don't think it is a language barrier no more but i'am getting annoyed on the demands nor the not so accurate criticism that you're giving these CAW makers wether here or at CAWS.ws.... can you just wait for them if they want to do a preview. Patience is a virtue1 point

Editing the Misc.pac to add attires Right, so alot of people are doing mods nowadays so I thought I'd make a tutorial on how to edit the misc.pac to add attires to wrestlers. So here goes!: First off, you will need: - HxD(Hex editor): Installable version, Portable version - Your misc.pac - The ability to read - The ability to use google - Decimal to Hexadecimal converter - Patience Lets start, we will be adding an additional attire to Chris Jericho(Current). First download and install HxD Now grab your misc.pac from: Usb0(OR Hdd1)\Games\WWE'13(or similar)\pac Open HxD and drag the misc.pac into the grey area on the HxD window You will see a bunch of numbers(Knowing the newbs, I know they will get confused, but DO NOT get confused). Press CTRL+F. Type "COS" in the search box, press the Return(or enter) key. Here are the entries for the superstars with their attires Since we are doing Chris Jericho who is ch104, we will convert 104 to hex using a Hexadecimal Converter The Hexadecimal value for 104 is 68 so we search for a byte which contains the number 68. It is here: Remeber: 01= no. of attires 09= Attire code for Original Attire FF FF FF FF= Unlocked by default Here Jericho(Who is ch104 which is 68 in hex) has 1 attire, which is unlocked by default. If we want to add to add another attire, we replace the "01" with "02" so that it looks like: Then in the byte that immediately follows "FF FF FF FF" we add 0B(Attire code for Collectors) so that it looks like: Finally, we move over 3(So in total, we skip 6 0's) bytes and then add "FF"(So a total of 8 F's) 4 bytes after that 1 byte after the other, like so: After that just press CTRL+S and your misc.pac is saved! Now to add attires to the actual pac files: Download Tekken57's Dummy.pac Inject any PACHs that you want(We edited the misc.pac so that chris jericho has 2 attires, so we can add chris' 00010402 and 00010404 PACHs into the dummy.pac, rename the the PACHs accordingly, and this will count as 1character(because 00010404 is actually an entrance attire which does not matter in the misc.pac) and another PACH files of his(texture modded or whatever) into another slot and rename the slot to 00010412 and if you want to add an entrance attire to that, inject another PACH into the slot underneath it and rename the slot to 00010414, etc.) Press Add additional attire data to arc file button Choose Plist360.arc Press OK Press the add additional attire data to arc file button again Choose the Plist360_4x3.arc Press OK Done. Notes: Attire codes(That I know of): 09= Original attire 0B= Collectors 0A= Suit FF FF FF FF= Unlocked by default You can add upto 4 in-ring attires and have 4 entrance attire for each of the in-ing attire they are named as follows: -000xxx02, 000xxx04 -000xxx12, 000xxx14 -000xxx22, 000xxx24 -000xxx32, 000xxx34 When you convert a ch number into hex and the result is a 3 digit number, use this trick: 309(ch number for Hunico) in hex is 135, so in order to write this correctly in the misc.pac we have to add "0" in front of the number so it looks like, "0135", and then take the "01" and put it at the back of the number so that it looks like, "3501". Examples: CH No.-------------------Hex-----------------------How it is written 325|----------------------|145|----------------------------|4501 322|----------------------|142|----------------------------|4201 338|----------------------|152|----------------------------|5201 314|----------------------|13a|----------------------------|3a01 Procedure= 325---->145----> 0145----> 4501 If you have any questions drop a reply and I'll try to help you out, but remember, google is a better friend that I am Cheers! EDIT: I've made a program that does all of the above for you. It asks you for information about attires, IDs, etc. and produces the hex bytes for you! You simply have to copy them and paste them at the correct offset. I'd highly suggest reading the tutorial once though so you know what you're doing Here's the program: http://www.mediafire.com/download/ctlsoxf8qe7h4xl/MiscPacGuide.rar If you're completely lost in the program, read the above tutorial and then hover the textbox titles, tool tips will appear briefly guiding you Cheers!!1 point

Here's the pics of Friday's uploads Juventud Guerrera I made the face texture under the mask but Keith did everything else on this one. Attire 1 is from the Big Ass Extreme Bash. And before anyone asks, Juvi didn't have any tattoos in ECW. And attire 2 is from the Big Apple Blizzard Blast. Most of you know, the game doesn't allow any long hair underneath masks this year, so he needed a hair texture. Al Snow Al got a brand new face this year (pretty much everyone has). But I left the mustache in the face texture this year as it was the best way to do his mustache, so no 1994-95 clean shaven look this year (not like anyone was really clamoring for it anyways)... Attire 1 is his main/most known look in ECW. And again, before anyone asks, Al didn't wear any entrance shirts in ECW, and the JOB Squad didn't exist until WWF/E. And attire 2 is his 1997 ECW return/New Rockers gear. You can remove the dye and change it to black too but I left the dye in just because it's easier to delete it than it is to re-add it. If you have our other CAWs, Al is only 2 new logos plus the face. Juvi is uploaded on ExplodedJoker81, and Keith has DLC sets up for both guys on that account as well that you'll want to get ASAP. And there should be a tag team that'll fit in quite a few promotions coming soon in the middle of this week.0 points

Ok so I understand the aversion to 'noobs' asking things like "why i cant load jeff hardy wit my new ps3 i just bot? does i need somethin else to make deez modz werk?" DISCLAIMER: Much of the following commentary is specifically targeted at the PS3 modding community. But even though I understand the kneejerk reaction to morons/kids asking ridiculous questions, there are also issues such as these '2k15 models into 2k14' that have pitfalls without many clearly laid out instructions for folks who aren't always your 'run-of-the-mill noobs' and may still confuse even the more experienced and observant user. In no way would I consider myself to by an experienced modder as I only really delved deep during the SVR11 season, but I'm also not a complete idiot having worked in IT and tech support for hardware companies such as HP and software companies such as Intuit. Even so, there are some issues with modding 2k14 such as this one that still evade me. I may be outing myself as an oblivious, idiotic noob, but I don't see any clearly laid out instructions for several tasks such as the one in this thread. Sure...ideally we should all strive to take the time to start from scratch and learn from the grass-roots how to do each and everything and we should all experiment to see what works and what does not. Yes, that would be ideal and awesome. But practically speaking, that doesn't work. Some of us (myself included) don't feasibly have the time with work/family schedules to fully implement the practice of experimentation with .pac files and what may or may not work with Xpacker. You have a guy like me who seriously wants to contribute and has shown experience with modding previously and has at least minimal graphic arts skills as well as a huge passion for old school wrestling, but who is encountering big blockades from fully enjoying the possibilities of modding such and experiencing a deep learning curve since SVR11 and an inability (perhaps my fault) to locate adequate tutorials to bring me up to speed in order to contribute at the level that would actually be beneficial to the community. I see a lot of comments telling folks that they need to basically 'pay their dues' to understand all the intricacies and layers of modding. As someone who's day job is in a position of authority who asks employees on a daily basis to take the time to study company material and fully engross themselves in our methodologies, I respect the position of long time modders here. But some of us want to contribute but simply do not have the time or patience (especially as parents) to try to decipher allusions to tasks that worked in previous games or how to read between the lines of several pages in a thread when someone asks a question which is followed by several members berating them for their lack of knowledge, which is then followed up by someone delivering the sum of hyrographical text referring to some basic knowledge that 'everyone should already know and if you don't then you're a complete fucking moron and go away...and oh yeah I forgot to add...FUCK YOU." I'm telling you now...and I'm sure you already know this but it's worth repeating. The modding community could reap great benefits if only there were more "idiot's guides" for morons like me who have a great desire to learn and contribute but simply do not have the time to "test" and "try out" hours/days/weeks/months before contributing something that's worth a shit. Most of the content of this post is not directly aligned to this post having to do with how to go about translating 2k15 models into 2k14, but I think (or hope) some folks get the point that not everyone is an idiot and some of us truly want to contribute but may need an extra little "Idiot's Guide" for some schtuff. EDIT: And back on topic after my bitchy little rant...no, I do not understand how to make these 2k15 models work. I see the 000A models in Xpacker, but I have no idea what I'm specifically supposed to do with them. Thanks in advance for any help.0 points
