  1. After 2-3 hours I identified the problem it was introduced while I was working on adding transition screens. Lost only 2-3 days' work. And will remake it even fast. Whew. Dodged a bullet and will do even more backups from now on. Having arc backups from each milestone saved my ass some precious time. Always backup when you mod!

  2. Thank you for the info. As I mentioned previously, I discovered the initial lariat is part of the sequence in wwe 2k15.It's still a work in progress. Now I can concentrate a bit more on it as I believe I've run out of other moves to port over. Practically all the major moves in demand from previous games have been ported apart from this big headache which is the Hogan Comeback.

  3. Hi, yes I did look at the Throat Thrust. Yukes seem to have messed up with the animation for the opponent so I replaced the opponent animation with that of another strike move. However this process is causing glitches in some the strike combo animations so I'm carefully considering a different workaround. Hi, i believe it's in but I should have released a separate file with the Party Express comeback still intact. I will have to rectify this asap.

The createmode.pac file contains the listing for each move in the game. As entries have been added, you can preview and select each ported move in the Create - A - Moveset Menu. The mot_mpc_patch_p30_patch and mot_param_patch_p30 files need to be placed in the pac/ingame folder The mpc.pac and param.pac files need to be copied to the wwe2k18 \ pac \ ingame \ motion \ body folder. LIST OF PORTED MOVES WITH PREVIEWS As suggested, I have renamed this thread "Move animations from older games". this thread contains a few of the moves animations which the developers have either removed or disabled in WWE 2k18. Most have been added by porting over the move animation files from previous games for each move. Some work flawlessly, some work with glitches , some don't work at all and some are just impossible to port over due to complexities in the animation sequence. The animation files are restructured differently from previous games this year . I will personally say it's a bit of a blessing as it has made it much easier to make ported move animations work in the game with little or no glitches. This was difficult in wwe 2k16 and 2k17 . I will say apart from the Hulk Hogan Leg Drop, which is a special sequence with two data files controlling the full animation, none of the other moves from 2k16 worked flawlessly in 2k16 and 2k17 as the characters models froze after the animations were executed. I have repacked the files which were released previously,tweaked a few and added some more. Crucifix Power bomb 2 - The second version of the Razor's Edge power bomb. This has been present in previous games but removed in wwe 2k18 ADDED ON 26TH APRIL : 4 new moves added NECKBREAKER 13 : The Neckbreaker 7 animation from WWE 2K15.Removed from subsequent games. STINKFACE : The WWE 2K15 Rikishi Stinkface full animation. Was removed and replaced with the present trimmed down version. This replaces the present version. ( The mat impact sound isn't working for the slot.I'm still working on a fix) Spike Piledriver - Piledriver in wwe 2k15 removed from subsequent games.   7. I have a couple of questions about the menu music, I saw that you added a menu music patch so does that mean we can now replace the menu music too? I was unable to get my hands on a 720p release of HH '98 video so had no source where to make a screenshot Will be okay with this for now. If you could provide a clear shot of the stage and perhaps a nameplate (because its different then the logo) it would be wonderful. I indeed do have the WL mod and I have all the newer games that came after 2K14. But thing is I do not have a XBOX JTAG, so its a shame to say that to this day I only used WL game to search for arenas, match-up screens and whatnot. Like a huge archive. Why a CAW? Because I started modding only early this march, had no prior experience with that whatsoever. I'm still trying to learn to do the things that are more simple than importing a character. I once read a tutorial how characters are imported and I got a bit scared so I decided to master simpler things and only then take a stab at character importing the last. So far so good. I think I'm not that far from reaching that point too. And it all a big thanks to the guys at this forum who share the knowledge and help out. You know who you are

Yo Bret Hart pack looks great, just some parts of the knee pads still have the pink color from previous mods & in some attires, you forgot to add the sock texture that 2k forgot to add lol I know you had them in some attires, but not all of them. He's my favorite wrestler so I had to point that out haha looks really good, though. Way better than how 2k did him. Test look alright but a little bulky, if that makes any sense. Not bad at all, though. Tattoo & pants logo textures could use some alignment. Owen Hart pack & Rockers look good.

  12. Looks cool man. Sometimes I just screenshot a good clean shot from the WWE Network. If I can't find what I'm looking for, sometimes I'll just use a gaussian blur filter. I haven't ever made a match-up screen but for other projects I do with wrestling. Why the Sting CAW, though? Don't you have the Legends mod or the Sting from the newer games? I think bugsyboy made a Sting mod out of the Wolfpac Sting for Legends.

  15. Thanks guys, I'm just trying to tackle various attires & mods that havent been done or needs fine polishing. I have more mods on the shelf that I havent previewed yet that needs tweaking here or there. And my Old PC has a treasure trove of wips that need a few tweaks and can be previewed and released. Im getting pretty close to being done with my original list of mods I wanted to accomplish. I may tweak & update some of my old mods as my skills have definitely improved since I first started modding. I look at some of those early mods and I see I should have tweaked a few things but I was pushing out more mods than I could handle at that time.

ECW era Eddy Guerrero (And for anyone wondering, his name was spelled "Eddy" pre-WCW) Attire 1 is from the first Guerrero/Malenko match at Hostile City Showdown 95. He wore it in AAA too; I'm not sure if he ever wore it in WCW though. The under-arm area was glitch and any line that went in a certain spot near the armpit ended up appearing on the chest so I couldn't add as many stripes on the arms as I wanted. Attire 2 is from Heatwave 95, and he wore it at other events including the final ECW confrontation between Malenko/Guerrero at the August 95 arena show right before leaving for WCW. And his new attire this year is from Enter the Sandman where he faced Malenko again. It's one of his Black Tiger attires minus the mask. "The All American" Ron Simmons Man I wish 2K had added Ron Simmons's 2K16 hair in the creation suite, but I guess that'll never happen. All of Ron's attires work for 1991-94 WCW; I wanted to do one of his PRIDE tights but couldn't get any good refs of them as none of those matches have been added to the WWE Network yet, and I thought I had a fancam with them but I can't find it anywhere on my computer. Attire 1 is his ECW face run attire that he wore at pretty much every event in 1994 and early 1995, including November to Remember 94 and Holiday Hell. Attire 2 is from the March 1995 ECW Arena show where he faced Hack Meyers And his new attire this year is from Hostile City Showdown 95 against 911, and also the Three Way Dance against Mikey Whipwreck. 2 Cold Scorpio I dyed his hair again this year as none of the other hairstyles were good IMO. He's set up so he has quite a few hidden attires if you change logo opacity. Attire 1 was worn quite a bit; it's based off Cyberslam 96 against Sabu. The black "Scorpio" logo is hidden invisible and the blue color is hidden as an invisible logo on his boots, so if anyone is ambitious and wants an extra attire, you can make his NWA Title Tourney and Three Way Dance attire. Just change the overall tights color to the blue, and then if the design on the tights is white, change it to black, and if the design is orange, change it to blue. It takes about 5 minutes to do. His new attire this year is his Japan tights that he only wore for special occasions in ECW. I drew them100% freehand and thanks to the logo wrap around, the attire only takes 3 logos. This look is based on The Doctor Is In against Chris Jericho... ...but if you change his hair to the balding pony tail in colum 1 row 15, change the boots to black, and boost the opacity of the tattoo on his right arm to around 68, you've got his Cyberslam 2000 attire vs Masato Tanaka. A warning though -- if you change his hair to this one and decide you want his short hair back, you'll lose the hair dye. So change the hair if you want but know that there's no way to change it back unless you re-download him or make a duplicate slot of him. And attire 3 is 2 Gold Scorpio from November 2 Remember 95. Again I hid some different colored scorpion logos invisible under the red ones, and there's colors for the tights hidden invisible on the boots, so there's quite a few attire possibilities for anyone who wants to make changes (or feel free to delete the logos you don't want). As always, credit and huge thanks to Keith Majors for their movesets! We both should have a couple more new guys up in the middle of this week, so keep an eye out for them.

  24. Ive replaced a shitload of other dds files and they all work fine, its something to do with rebuilding the dlc. For some reason replacing something inside the LoadHD_dlc.pac messes up the rest of the DLC. Try it and see.... the dlc will load fine, the changes you have made will be present but as soon as a Universe cut scene occurs the game will lockup or just load forever. Modding things inside the ch folder of the DLC doesnt seem to effect it, only the Menu folder as far as I can tell.
