Can you help me please? You need to use the converter in Sound Editor 2K18 and raise the target volume. Either that or use a different program to raise the gain of your files. 2 Quote
Livin Proof 215 Posted November 5, 2017 Posted November 5, 2017 sorry if this has been answered but something weird just happened. ive had no problem converting and using my own songs but now i cant import songs. it only looks for .wav files now instead of .wem Quote

There were some people with the same issue in the past. Unfortunately I couldn't find a solution for that. It only occurs on some configurations and I can't reproduce that issue. If you like, you could send my your file for testing. 1 Quote
DFM85 Posted November 6, 2017 Posted November 6, 2017 I have the same issue too. No problems with the old versions of 2K but this time if I try to import the music they doesn't work in game, but I can hear the preview by the program Quote

Your issue is that you have tried an old wem file which isn't compatible with 2K18. It doesn't mean anything if the preview in SE is working or not, WWE 2K18 doesn't support files created with Wwise < 2017. Please read the whole thread before you post a possible issue! Wölfpack Posted November 7, 2017 Posted November 7, 2017 Well, I can confirm. If I use the old .wem data files from last year, it won't work. If I convert the mp3s again to wem, it works.... 1 Quote
KingDaddyDev Posted November 7, 2017 Posted November 7, 2017 So I made a big mistake and edited a sound I did not want to edit. Does anybody know how to revert back. To the default sound files Quote
TheVisitorX Posted November 7, 2017 Author Posted November 7, 2017 (edited) SE has a backup option! Another option you have... Get the original wem file and try to import this file with SE. Edited November 7, 2017 by TheVisitorX Quote
LongThumb Posted November 7, 2017 Posted November 7, 2017 (edited) Just had an update which seems to have broken custom sounds. Had no choice as a message popped up saying update or your saves won't work. It's killed the patch for the menu music but not the entrance music. Edited November 7, 2017 by LongThumb Quote
TheVisitorX Posted November 7, 2017 Author Posted November 7, 2017 (edited) Custom sounds are still working (even menu sfx), at least for me. It doesn't seem like they have changed something on the sounds. They have only added some new ones. Which custom sounds do not work for you? All? Menu sfx? Your "error" message hasn't anything to do with custom sounds! Quote It's killed the patch for the menu music but not the entrance music. The update did not change/overwrite the menu sfx patch. My replaced menu sfx is still working! Edited November 7, 2017 by TheVisitorX Quote
LongThumb Posted November 7, 2017 Posted November 7, 2017 I've reinstalled sound editor but the menu music just plays a second of each song I've overridden. I'll try uninstalling and reinstalling the editor. Quote
EdgarAllanPoon Posted November 8, 2017 Posted November 8, 2017 So I accidentally deleted an entry, I deleted Hells Demon, How do I fix it? Quote
Robin Everheart Posted November 8, 2017 Posted November 8, 2017 I'm thinking this might be a new bug introduced with 2K's latest game patch but now in the Advanced Entrance tool, no entrance music will play beyond the Intro portion, they're just silent. The song plays fine when you watch the Full Preview and while you're in the Edit Menu where you can set a template and title entrance, it just goes silent while trying to work on the Stage, Ramp, Ring-In, and Ring portions. I tested it with imported songs and ones I haven't touched but if there's an issue with SE having altered the pck files as a whole, it might not matter what song I picked that was in that same pck. Like I said, it might be an issue with 2K's update they broke themselves... but it might also be a result of editing the pck files prior to the patch and now there's an incompatibility somewhere. I don't know for sure, I'm just bring it to light in case anyone else experienced this. Figured I'd bring it up here first before I try to contact 2K and they try to send me through an asinine support process that won't accomplish anything. Quote
