TheVisitorX
Than the file import wasn't successful...:/ That means this sound does not work, even in-game. Which files did you use? Which extension, size? Any errors during file import? Edited February 11, 2017 by TheVisitorX

TheVisitorX
Do you have a backup of your file? I hope you have select the backup option? Because another import for that file does not work! Which sound-id and file have you used? Was it your first import?

RareHunterOlo
Hey VisitorX ,I'm new to this ,and I have the song ,Evolutions theme ,in a WEM file. When I import it into Goth 2 ,go into game ,play it ,I just hear a little snippet of it for about 2 seconds before the game crashes. What did I do wrong? I messaged again cuz you missed it the first time lol.
esbatmusic
I think I fixed my issue by reading the first message...Testing now...(as I write this with nitro song and the video is already there...I'll nut if it works...Because I KNOW the possibilities will be endless for me to help the community this year if so...) Results are in : Oh boy! It did work!!!! OMG OMG... I'm announcing that once I have everything done I'll release enormous packs. And will make a thread for packs and upcoming audio project. Including request for theme with great reverb. @TheVisitorX You, sir, are the man! Edit : I would need to open 2K16 the same way, with all the commentary and audio theme, is there a way to do this? Booty O's
I've successfully installed SE, configured Wwise and converted two tracks from MP3 to WEM and successfully imported them into the game. For anyone interested....... Metallica - Hardwired and Twisted Sister - I Wanna Rock now play during the in game main screen. 😉👍 Amazing work @TheVisitorX Edited February 11, 2017 by Booty O's
Alex47
1 hour ago, TheVisitorX said: You don't have to open Wwise. You have to install and config it, that is enough. SE also imports wav and mp3 files and also has a sound converter from mp3 to wem. But you have to setup Wwise. Check your Wwise cli path in the settings. Path needs to be something like \Audiokinetic\Wwise v2014.1.6 build 5318\Authoring\x64\Release\bin so that is the path to the WwiseCLI.exe. How Do I change the path? Do I do that through the program itself or through the folders for the program?

If you open the file again and look to that file in the grid, which information do you get? Offset, TargetOffset, Filesize and Extension? Can you preview the file in SE? Alex47
Ok thanks, I appreciate the help. I have it set up so the Wwise Bin-directory to the folder you mentioned, so that's set up. Still not seeing the song i'm trying to convert. Is it an issue that I'm trying to use a song I downloaded from ITunes and dragged to my desktop? Could you please send me a screenshot from SE with the file selected? Or the whole game sound file for testing? Or the theme used. If the preview is working fine, it should have something to do with the offsets used. 4 minutes ago, Alex47 said: Ok thanks, I appreciate the help. TheVisitorX
I've removed the download link for SE because of the problem RareHunter has mentioned. Please be patient! I have to investigate and fix that issue. First I have to find out if it's a problem with the theme or with the imported sound. ItzTheRampage
Hey, VisitorX, there would be an suggestion. In the futer even if its going to be in 2k18, could you please put an keyboard shortcut to play and pause the wem playback, because its pretty annoying to click right mouse and then play/stop.
