SCOTT HALL

 

Struggling with the face texture on this. Finding it really difficult to find hi res pics of Hall to create the face texture. Quite happy with the body morph for now. Still have a lot of work to do.

Looks awesome, I am guessing you have removed the emotions, I would love to know how you are doing it :D

YES YES YES. I NEED THESE CUSTOM GUYS IN MY GAME, GREAT START, enough caps..

Anyways, Cannot wait to see further progress Tekken.

Hopefully soon we can find a way to replace ch files and take out current guys and fill them with golden era/attitude era :D

Hall looks like he's had a bit too much botox right now, lol, but it's an awesome start. Can't wait to see the finished project. Good stuff.

On a serious topic. Someone mentioned that you have to disable facial animations in his face to get him to work. If that's true and he will we stuck with a single expression maybe you can try to get more of his signature sneer in there.

@ThebleedingRed21, the idea is to add wrestlers to the game, not replace. When the save is figured out this will be possible. thanks for the ref pic, but I need one from the front where he's not making an expression.

 

@leonRick, X-Packer, X-Rey, hours & hours of modelling and texturing.

 

@lordJustice17, the plan is to get animations working at some point. Hence I don't want to create a non neutral expression.

That yobj model format sure likes to jump around a lot. There's offsets everywhere.

 

It's also uses a different Endian than other files for whatever reason. Which is really strange.

Thanks a lot guys. Worked on the face texture using photo's and other wrestlers textures. Also completed the normals and AO maps. Here's what he looks like in game now with my updated textures:

@.RaEie, damn your texture looks very good. The only thing is that it needs more of a stubble / beard, the eyebrows need to be positioned and the skin color needs to be matched to the body. I am using Rusev's textures as a ref for the the skin color.

 

I tried your texture in 3dsmax and I think you texture makes the model look more like Hall. If you add the details I've specified above, I may use your texture over mine. Here's what the texture looks like on the model (mine is on the left and your's is right):

Nice stuff, you're definitely getting closer. I'm not sure why (because there are still no animations) but the new face looks less robotic than the first rendition. More wrinkles and such maybe.

 

Either way, keep up the good work. I'm excited for the final product.

Possibly try using this one (mainly his right side of his face (left side of the pic..possibly mirror it to build?)...Might help

Looks awesome, Unbelievable to me. My only suggestion is to make the body bigger, especially the chest area.

@keshire, the hardcoded offsets are what make changing anything inside the yobj tricky. Hence the vert limitation on imports.

 

@wolfgangjt, thanks for the ref. Going to try using it to add to the texture I have so far. I'm hoping you make the move to modding now that the game is on pc :)

 

@epicster, the body morph is based on his 2k14 model. I have use topogun on the chest, arms and shoulders to get match the morph exactly to the 2k14 model.
