kim666 Posted April 29, 2015 Posted April 29, 2015 And the Save https://www.sendspace.com/file/kdz9py it is still zlib compressed, but can be decompressed with offzip
Red Rooster Posted April 29, 2015 Posted April 29, 2015 Looking forward to PC update, let us know if you need anything else.
gamingfan Posted April 29, 2015 Posted April 29, 2015 Thanks Kim. @twisted, my Mortal Kombat X save is in the program files(x86)/steam folder. not sure where the 2k15 save is. idk where my save is i installed 2k15 on another hdd that i have in pc ? Though you installed the game to different HDD than the C drive, the save game of every game will be in program data/steam. It will be in numbers.

kim666 Posted April 29, 2015 Posted April 29, 2015 Where is the save kept? C:\Program Files\Steam\userdata\[sTEAMID]\240460
tekken57 Posted April 29, 2015 Author Posted April 29, 2015 Thanks for the files guys. Recoding the functions in X-Packer is taking time as I need to recode everything even the texture archive functions. I also hit a road block, with the Triple H pac file, the file is so huge that a memory exception is being thrown when injecting. The only way around this is to deploy the program for a 64 bit system which solves the problem. However I'm concerned that many users will not be able to use X-Packer as they are not running x64. Not sure what to do.
kim666 Posted April 29, 2015 Posted April 29, 2015 (edited) code it for x64. If you want to play wwe2k15 on pc you need a decent system and this will support x64 and you can update to a x64 os for free when windows 10 gets released. Edited April 29, 2015 by kim666

It's pretty much a requirement to have a decent system anyway.

Yup minimum system requirements for 2k15 on pc state 64 bit OS vista or above. Plus people who dont have 64bit OS can still use older versions of Xpacker because they wont need to mod 2k15 PC files.

JetfireMike Posted April 29, 2015 Posted April 29, 2015 Speaking as someone with programming experience, it'll make things easier in the long run if you just do x64 now. Any machine that's going to be running this game even remotely decently will be 64-bit, assuming it even runs on x86 at all (does it?) I have the game and a pretty beefy machine and would be happy to help troubleshoot/debug as needed.

So it makes sense making x-packer 64-bit only - modders can test their stuff only on 64-bit machines anyway. Edited April 29, 2015 by ShawnBaxe
wtferrell Posted April 29, 2015 Posted April 29, 2015 Hey Tekken, do you recall which email you sent the download instruction\s for X-Rey/x-packer to? I donated, but never downloaded the software. I have a few email addresses, and don't remember which one that I used. Or if you can let me know what the email with link was called? Thanks man. I picked up the pc version, so I'm hopefully going to participate in modding. We appreciate the quick info you've been churning out.
tekken57 Posted April 29, 2015 Author Posted April 29, 2015 Thanks for the opinions guys, forced to build on x64 for now, many more roadblocks as I'm coding. A lot more work to be done on both programs as I'm having to recode practically all the most important functions in the programs again. @wtferrell, the email address I use is sf4mods@gmail.com . The title is usually X-Packer or X-Rey.
Twistedmisery666™ Posted April 29, 2015 Posted April 29, 2015 Sweet so it only works on 64 bit op systems glad mine is one phew.
tekken57 Posted April 29, 2015 Author Posted April 29, 2015 I plan to release the program in 32 bit and 64 bit variants. Obviously if you want to work with the bigger pac files, you will need a 64 bit system to the increased memory requirements. If everything goes according to plan, users should get both the 32 bit and 64 bit version which use the same activation key. I need to finish coding support though before I can confirm this, like I said I'm discovering new roadblocks along the way.
xWrestling Posted April 30, 2015 Posted April 30, 2015 goes XPacker already with the PC version? I would, if so, buy it now
tekken57 Posted April 30, 2015 Author Posted April 30, 2015 (edited) The files are not fully supported as yet. I am still currently recoding my tools to add support. My game finished downloading this morning. Just ran a few tests of my own, using my ongoing beta (unreleased build of X-Packer): - Compressing yobj files into the pach has no issues - Compressing texture archives cannot compress enough I tried resizing the dimensions of the the head_f file to 512 x512 from 1024x1024 and created a new texture archive. X-Packer was able to compress this enough and the game loaded it but the entire body was black. Made a few edits to the face texture making adding more detail to the chin. I also edited Hogan's horrible hair (making him more bald) in X-Rey and injected it, no issues all. Edited Hogan's arms just to test, also no issues. the only issues with model editing at the moment are the object with a large number of verts like the head. Will look at a fix after I finish with X-Packer. Here's some proof of concept pics: Edited April 30, 2015 by tekken57
THEpaynexkiller Posted April 30, 2015 Posted April 30, 2015 Nice to see that fixing Hogan's terrible hair was a priority. Great job!
Elliot Posted April 30, 2015 Posted April 30, 2015 Looking great. Really coming along it seems. I'm hoping we can get some new tutorials with the PC version though because I know a few bits have changed.
Blaze29 Posted April 30, 2015 Posted April 30, 2015 tekken, I purchased xpacker 10. My name here is blaze29
dannyxdomecheck Posted April 30, 2015 Posted April 30, 2015 Likewise. Although I'm sure you're busy updating and whatnot.
