tekken57 Posted November 24, 2014 Author Posted November 24, 2014 I haven't tried it but it should work in the same way.
hadigala Posted November 24, 2014 Posted November 24, 2014 Hey tekken I just got my x packer .... Do I have again donate for x packer 10 ?
tekken57 Posted November 24, 2014 Author Posted November 24, 2014 Hey tekken I just got my x packer .... Do I have again donate for x packer 10 ? X-Packer 9 and and 10 are two different programs, so yes you will have to. If you don't intend on modding 2k15, then you will not need X-Packer 10 as the new features are specific to 2k15. 1
New Era Dx2009 Posted November 24, 2014 Posted November 24, 2014 Good Job Tekken Cause with your tools We Become The best modder
tekken57 Posted November 26, 2014 Author Posted November 26, 2014 Thank you. Beta testing will begin soon, just finalising the misc.pac functionality at the moment.

Twistedmisery666™ Posted November 26, 2014 Posted November 26, 2014 Can't wait to be able to add alt attires to ppl
LordBarker Posted November 27, 2014 Posted November 27, 2014 Hello mate, assume this won't overwrite X-Packer 9, since it's a separate program? Stupid question probably but thought I'd check before ordering
HotavioH Posted November 27, 2014 Posted November 27, 2014 Hello mate, assume this won't overwrite X-Packer 9, since it's a separate program? Stupid question probably but thought I'd check before ordering Probably, Since the X-Rey was released as a separated program
tekken57 Posted November 27, 2014 Author Posted November 27, 2014 @lordbarker, X-Packer 10 contains all the features of X-Packer 9 as well as the new 2k15 features. Pre Order guys, I have sent you the beta of X-Packer and community dlc a few minutes ago.
LordBarker Posted November 27, 2014 Posted November 27, 2014 (edited) Cheers, will pre-order in a few days when work is a bit clearer and have time to actually download it - I'm only after the updated Sting model, but happy to donate as it's more than a reasonable amount for all the work you do mate. Twistedmisery666™ Posted November 28, 2014 Posted November 28, 2014 Are the alt attires working for 10?
tekken57 Posted November 29, 2014 Author Posted November 29, 2014 Are the alt attires working for 10? For 10? I've added the misc.pac file from last year, so yes the alt attires work the same as 2k14.
OverTheEdge Posted November 29, 2014 Posted November 29, 2014 So, quick question with the extract/inject features on X-Rey--never really used it before--all you need to do is extract an obj from one YOBJ and then use the inject smaller function on another YOBJ right? The only thing required is that the obj you're injecting has fewer (or the same--but that's rarely likely) vertices and faces, yeah? Because I've been testing that out and every time I do, X-Rey will say it injected successfully, but then when it tries to load up the model it gives an error. 3Ds Max won't properly load up the YOBJ afterward either. I thought it might've been a 2K15 thing, as I was trying to inject a model part from a 2K14 model into a 2K15 one, but then I tried a 2K15 one into another 2K15 one and the results weren't any better.
tekken57 Posted November 30, 2014 Author Posted November 30, 2014 I'll look into it. I just tried extracting a part from a 2k15 model and injecting it into another 2k15 model but X-Rey does not allow it due to vert count restriction. It reading the verts incorrectly on the 2k15 sub object for some reason and picks it up as being higher even though it isn't. 2k14 models still work fine, just tested it. Seems like it's a bug that I need to fix. Can you please try the same with a 2k14 model into another 2k14 model and see if you have any issues. I must warn you though, the results with injecting from one model to another is mixed and you need to experiment with it. Most times the rigging of the models corrupts the new object when moving. The way in which I inject one model part into another is by using a caw part. I extract the sub object from the original model and inject smaller into the ca part. I also extract the skeleton from the model and inject into the caw part. Then I add the caw part into the pach file. It works I'd say about 60% of the time in that way. Also try to inject into a caw part which is located around the same part of the body as your sub object i.e. I inject a singlet into a coat so that the rigging works correctly.
OverTheEdge Posted November 30, 2014 Posted November 30, 2014 Yeah, good call. Seems like a 2K15 model issue. Just tested out swapping parts between two 2K14 ones like you suggested, and it worked just fine. Thanks for the heads up and info on the CAW part method--much appreciated. I'll definitely be sure to put that to use and give it a shot.
Twistedmisery666™ Posted December 6, 2014 Posted December 6, 2014 Hey Tekken can I pay for xpacker 10 another way my pay pal is trying to back charge me,cuz of some idiot on eBay did the back charge after I sent him a item I sold him so I'm negative on my PayPal,and they won't help me out with it..
tekken57 Posted December 9, 2014 Author Posted December 9, 2014 @twisted, there is no other way in which I can receive donations in this country. PayPal is my only option. Looked into the "inject smaller" issues with 2k15 models and fixed the problem. Currently testing. I also looked into the audio file format. The header is not complicated to read however there are 16000 + files in the archive. This would make listing and locating each file in X-Packer extremely complicated and would also consume a lot of memory. Rebuilding the entire sound archive would also take a very long time and would be extremely memory intensive. Unfortunately I cannot add support for audio files due to the above reasons.

tekken57 Posted December 11, 2014 Author Posted December 11, 2014 Cool. no worries. The beta testing of X-Packer 10 is complete and there were no significant bugs. The beta version which was released will be the final version of X-Packer 10 effectively immediately.
tekken57 Posted December 23, 2014 Author Posted December 23, 2014 Added support for the ps3 save files for both 2k14 and 2k15. The functionality is currently being tested. I have coded the wrestler info and moveset functions on the ps3 save to enable importing of this data from the individual xbox save data. This should make converting the community dlc for the ps3 fairly simple. PS3 guys, if you would like to donate you can assist in the testing.
WhiteLeatherJacket Posted December 24, 2014 Posted December 24, 2014 I'll donate and help out Tekken.
tekken57 Posted December 25, 2014 Author Posted December 25, 2014 @whiteleatherjacket, cool, any help will be appreciated. Merry Xmas everyone
