Community DLC Pack 1

My problem is not language, when I use nWo Macho Man I get disk is dirty error and when I use Syxx or Scott Hall I get corrupt file, and Road Warriors dont have entrance attire.

For that. Open the 332 and 333 pac files with X-Packer and click on add additional attire data to arc files. Fixed.

I think you must download a new dlc3 and inject the two files again. I think the problem is the DLC3 that are you using

Hi, I'm obviously a newbie here and have a (perhaps uninformed) question about Community DLC Pack 1 which I'm having trouble finding an answer to: does installation of this Community DLC Pack for WWE 2K14 require a JTAG'd / modified XBOX 360, or will it work with a retail console as if it were a DLC pack released by 2K? I'm interested in using the pack in my WWE 2K14 game save and I'm more than happy to contribute the $10 donation towards the continued development of the X-Padder software required to install the custom DLC pack, but I want to be sure that I will be able to use it before I do so.

I ask also because I was able to use a third-party utility developed for WWE 12 for CAW injection, Create-A-Logo texture modification, and for inserting custom TitanTron videos into the game (possibly developed by this community, I don't know for sure; I do remember there was a Three Stooges splash screen, but that's it for specifics). If I recall correctly, this was achieved purely by save file modification and as such it worked with a retail console and retail version of WWE 12. I'm wondering if this is a similar situation with this custom DLC and WWE 2K14, realizing full well that adding Yukes-made wrestlers into the game is a completely different process than modifying CAWs. I also don't expect to be able to add texture modifications to already in-game wrestlers, for example, because I assume that their assets are not part of the standard game save file.

Finally, I ask because specifics as to whether a modded console is required are not included in the installation guide hosted at the SF4Mods blog page (this was the first place I looked for info).

I'll keep searching the forum for an answer to my question in lieu of receiving a response to this message, but any insight from those with more institutional knowledge with respect to this custom DLC pack would be greatly appreciated. Regardless what the answer is to my question ends up being, this is a really cool thing you all in this community have managed to do and I hope that those who can use it continue to enjoy it.

Thanks!

I install this the first time & I manage to get everything to work on my first try. I 'm so happy because I want Legion of Doom & hopefully Demolition soon in my game. Thanks alot Tekken for this DLC & the new X-Packer. Also thanks to everyone that made tutorials  easy to understand since I'm still new to this kind of modding.

I just added the new DLC pack and it looks like it screwed up the names of the community dlc. Guys like shamrock now have John Cena as their name

You need to update the strings.pac file for each new dlc file. No way around it unfortunately.

Will we have to do this ourselves or will it be done in the next community dlc pac?  If not how do we go about doing it?

If you dont want to wait for Community DLC 2 to be released here are the files to fix the names. You will need to do this when installing Community DLC 2 anyway.

There are 2 folders, one contains the pofo files that need to be injected into the correct slots using XPacker9

File->Open->WWE 2k14->Extracted Save File (Xbox360)-> Wrester Info

The second folder contains the updated string.pac that needs to be injected into the new official DLC.

For  the spanish people who wants to install the new DLC4 and don't wanna loose the correct names of DLC1  community wrestlers , i have uploaded the files to inject in the DLC4

https://mega.co.nz/#fm/DkhiwJRC

Inside the zip there is a small tutorial , the string_dlc4.arc and the catalog_hd.arc

This is only valid if you have installed DLC1 Comunity and you want to install offical DLC4

The next week ,after release of the new DLC2 community i will upload the new strings for spanish people to use with the DLC2 Community

You might want to take that down and redo it because all the string assignments have changed for community DLC 2. All the wrestler in community dlc 1 now have there own strings for names rather than replacing the full names of in game wrestlers.

I will PM you the list of Hex codes for the string names (in English) for all the community DLC wrestlers.
