Heart Breaker Posted March 6, 2007 Author Posted March 6, 2007 The thing that still gets to me is, that was the first right hand Randy threw of the night. It was within the first 10 seconds of the fight, and Big Tim is on his ass. Simply incredible. Quote
Fozy Posted March 6, 2007 Posted March 6, 2007 Fluke? I'd like to ask where this 'fluke' occurs. Quote
The Don Posted March 7, 2007 Posted March 7, 2007 I'd just like to state that is one of the most hilarious knock outs I've ever seen! Poor Babalu Quote
Heart Breaker Posted March 15, 2007 Author Posted March 15, 2007 Yeah. It's a shame, too. That was one of the matches I was really interested to see. But 70 still looks like amazing card. Quote
Nemo Posted March 15, 2007 Posted March 15, 2007 its only a shame for me because i was going to win that bet. Quote
CS Posted March 20, 2007 Posted March 20, 2007 I challenge you hb. Chuck Liddell vsQuinton "Rampage" Jackson He's going down this time hb, some people might say Rampage needs more ufc experience before he has a title fight. Well fuck them. Quote
Heart Breaker Posted March 20, 2007 Author Posted March 20, 2007 I'm one of those people saying Rampage needs more experience before he gets that title shot. And you will realize that I am right once Rampage is laying on his back after getting KO'd by the hands of Liddell. You're on for this bet. Lets make it a sig bet. Shall we? Quote
The Don Posted March 20, 2007 Posted March 20, 2007 Aw damnit HB I was gonna bet you for sigs! EDIT: How about a username bet HB? Quote
Heart Breaker Posted March 20, 2007 Author Posted March 20, 2007 From UFC 71 thru UFC 72? Sounds good to me! Quote
Nemo Posted March 22, 2007 Posted March 22, 2007 for what its worth, id also bet on liddell. but im sick of having other peoples crappy sigs. Quote
Heart Breaker Posted March 22, 2007 Author Posted March 22, 2007 Crappy sig? That's high quality stuff right there, Sal. Quote
Nemo Posted March 25, 2007 Posted March 25, 2007 i watched ufc 68 last night. overall, it sucked. couture vs sylvia will go down as one of the worst fights i have ever seen. on top of that, i firmly believe that sylvia took a dive. couture had to win that fight, and dana made sure he did. randy is money, and with a guy headlining ufc ppvs, buyrates will go up. plus, imagine if sylvia won that shitfest. nobody cared about how bad the fight was because couture won. so yeah, sylvia threw that fight. and before anyone says "ROFL UFC ISNT FAKE LIKE WRESTLING, FAG" its not, but this isnt the first time a fight has been fixed either. fuck randy couture. he shouldve stayed in retirement. speaking of wrestling, am i the only one who noticed a certain unmentioned celebrity who was in the audience that night?: Quote
Heart Breaker Posted March 25, 2007 Author Posted March 25, 2007 Tim Sylvia had a hurt back going into the fight. He took Couture lightly which is something no one should do. He got fucked up by Couture. Therefore, we have a new champion. Get over it. Quote
The Don Posted March 25, 2007 Posted March 25, 2007 speaking of wrestling, am i the only one who noticed a certain unmentioned celebrity who was in the audience that night?: I notcied that too, they showed him a few times if I remember correctly. I'm suprised Vince didn't shit a brick over it, I mean his world champion is at the competition's ppv... Quote
Nemo Posted March 25, 2007 Posted March 25, 2007 hb, sylvia didnt get fucked up by couture. couture landed that big shot in the first few seconds of the fight and the rest was ground dry humping - which in turn was easier for sylvias back. sylvia gets out injury free, couture makes his big comeback and the fans get what they want and therefore are willing to pay for more ppvs with couture in the main event. its a fixed fight trifecta. vince mcmahon himself couldnt do a better job than that. *edit* don, is ufc really in competition with the wwe? seems like apples and oranges to me. Quote
The Don Posted March 25, 2007 Posted March 25, 2007 It kind of is. It seems like more and more WWE fans are tuning into UFC, plus a lot of bars that used to have WWE PPVs are now having UFC on. Quote
Nemo Posted March 25, 2007 Posted March 25, 2007 id love to know what bars show pro wrestling on their tvs. PROBABLY GAY BARS! AM I RITE?! Quote
The Don Posted March 25, 2007 Posted March 25, 2007 A lot fo them to be honest. Every sports bar used to have on their sign that they're getting the PPV. They charge like a 2 drink minimum and zang-zadang! Quote

The first seconds Randy landed a right hand, and the rest was dry humping? Then you obviously didn't see the third round. Let me remind you since you've obviously forgotten. Couture dominated on the stand up. It was ALL stand up. I guess you were too busy trying to figure out a way to explain why you think the fight is fixed. Randy landed a dominating right hand. Which is part of the game. Randy is one of the best Greco Roman Wrestlers in MMA right now, if not the best. He can take down anyone. If you cannot defend the shot, then you're screwed. Tim couldn't defend it, he got taken down. Randy landed shots on the bottom. But stayed back to avoid the huge reach advantage from Tim. Also. You said Tim walked out injury free? Were you looking at Tim's eye after the fight? I guess not. His eye was swollen shut. I believe that's an injury. Or atleast, if I couldn't see out of one eye, I think I'd have an injury. And as for your theory of UFC not wanting Tim to be champ due to buyrates... the UFC is not worried about Tim's buyrates. Why? Because the next defense for Big Tim would've been Cro Cop. Which would sell more than enough pay per views. So your logic is not making too much sense. Go ahead and say something is fixed when you don't agree with the outcome. It won't change anyone's minds that at age 43, Randy is still in the prime of his career. But keep pulling out random ass facts and bull shit conspiracy theories. I love reading them. Quote
