The Don Posted January 17, 2007 Posted January 17, 2007 CS, don't you want to bet against Rampage? Quote
CS Posted January 18, 2007 Posted January 18, 2007 Don, I knew who Rampage was way before he came the the UFC, there is no chance in hell I'm betting against the guy. Any chance of you betting against Cro Cop or maybe even Silva though? Quote
The Don Posted January 18, 2007 Posted January 18, 2007 Right now, the only fighters I really know are Tito, Liddell and Rampage. Untill I figure out who the rest of these guys are I only plan on betting on Rampage. Quote
CS Posted January 19, 2007 Posted January 19, 2007 I can't wait for a Cro Cop/Rampage vs. Randy Couture fight so I can get my revenge on HB. Quote
Heart Breaker Posted January 19, 2007 Author Posted January 19, 2007 Randy and Rampage will NEVER fight. Mark my words on that. Quote
CS Posted January 20, 2007 Posted January 20, 2007 There is a possibility of them fighting, if Couture beats Sylvia and keeps the belt for while theres a chance that fight might happen because Rampage will almost for sure be getting a titleshot within two years. Quote
Heart Breaker Posted January 20, 2007 Author Posted January 20, 2007 There are two things you are not comprehending. If Couture beats Sylvia, that means he's the new heavyweight champion. Not light-heavyweight. Basically, Randy will stay in the heavyweight division while Rampage works his way up in the UFC's light-heavyweight ranks. Which shouldn't be too long. Also, I've heard through numerous sources that Rampage and Couture have the same manager. Which doesn't allow them to compete against one another. That could've changed, but as of now, I'm almost positive Rampage and Couture will never meet. Quote
Heart Breaker Posted January 22, 2007 Author Posted January 22, 2007 This is the UFC Discussion after all, so I thought I would post the UFC 68 poster. C'mon Couture! Fuck Tim up! Quote
CS Posted January 22, 2007 Posted January 22, 2007 Like I said before HB, the winners are on the left. Quote
Nemo Posted January 22, 2007 Posted January 22, 2007 (edited) i believe franklin is on the wrong side then. Edited January 22, 2007 by Slurms MacKenzie Quote
Heart Breaker Posted January 25, 2007 Author Posted January 25, 2007 Amazingly, UFC 68 has already sold out. This could be caused by two reasons. A. The UFC is finally able to have a show in Ohio. B. Randy Couture is coming out of retirement. I'd like to think it's both. Either way, this is very good news for the UFC. Quote
Nemo Posted January 25, 2007 Posted January 25, 2007 its probably the first moreso than the second. if i lived in ohio, my first thought would be "how long will it be before they have another event here." a few seconds later, id be on my way to the arena to get my tickets. lucky ohioans. Quote
Heart Breaker Posted January 26, 2007 Author Posted January 26, 2007 If you happened to miss UFC Fight Night, you missed one hell of a night of fights. Mainly upsets in my eyes. Here's a nice gif of Rashad Evans' brutal KO over Salmon. Quote
The Don Posted January 26, 2007 Posted January 26, 2007 I would have paid to see that. HB wern't you saying that Salmon was beating Evans at first? Just goes to show what a pissed off nigger will do for his KFC money. Quote
Nemo Posted January 26, 2007 Posted January 26, 2007 paid? it was on spiketv. unfortunately, i forgot about ufn and turned the tv on at 9 expecting impact to be on. i'll catch the rerun though. Quote
The Don Posted January 26, 2007 Posted January 26, 2007 Yeah, I would have paid to see it, but I didn't have to. I'm such a thrifty shopper! Quote
The Don Posted February 3, 2007 Posted February 3, 2007 Last chance, no one wants to bet against Jackson? Quote
Nemo Posted February 4, 2007 Posted February 4, 2007 (edited) you are either really persistent or you just cant take a hint. nobody is taking the bet. NOBODY. the small amount of mma fans here arent retarded, which means you're way out of your league if you think you're going to trick anyone into taking a long-shot bet. my advice: give some kind of odds or something. if the bet was something along the lines of rampage winning in the first minute, at least people would consider taking it.
