We haven't found a way as the Royal Rumble has a separate menu file structure which doesn't include ARENA SELECT.

but you can select it for universe right? like if we want to use a modded arena as our royal rumble arena, we are ok to do this correct?

Yes you can select a modded or community creations arena for a Universe mode show so the Royal Rumble match itself will hold at the selected arena rather than holding at the Royal Rumble arena .

The mod is better suited to Universe mode to be honest.
