TUTORIAL: assigning different entrance motions for alternate attires in WWE 2k19

I can confirm this does work. If it doesn’t work for you, I will have to say it’s probably a step you haven’t done correctly . If you can state what you have tried to change and post a screenshot of the edits you made

So in unlockd all 10 Attires for John Cena and i have put Cena 13 on second atire and Cena 03 on third...the models show ingame no prob...only that both of them have the same entrance as the original Cena.

And yes i did inject everything corectly

Hi, 

For motions with 3 digit ID’s you don’t include the 0. The 0139 will not be read by the game. Instead you write 13912 139 141 0 0 0 0.

I did that already, doesn't work...vied tried everything.

Maybe its because i am using CCT and i have a mods folder....i really don't know.

I did copy the "evt_data.pac" in to the mods folder , regenerate he Chunk0.def so it will read it from the mods folder...but still no luck.

Can you upload and post a link to  the evt_data file you have modified.?

Nothing to do with CCT . Also can you upload and post a link to the chunk0.def file in the wwe2k19 folder?

The Chuck0 file has a lot of /mods entry's because i copied the evt_data there, to be read by the game from h mods folder, i even copied the whole evt folder over to the mods folder...nothing worked.

Finally...i have found the culprit.

It is the SAVEDATA. I deleted the SAVEDATA but it kept re-downloading when i started the game.

I started the game with Steam offline and now the entrances work for both attires.

Any idea how to rest the SAVEDATA?? If i play with Steam offline i don't have access to some functions.

Hi, regarding the cloud save , you need to disable this option in the steam app settings. I don’t remember what it’s called off hand , but I can check when I return home.

That situation is weird because the data for alternate entrances isn't stored in the game save file . If it was, the same entrance will still load if the evt_data was restored to the unmodified copy.

BTW...in the John Cena 06 entrance his hat is missing. I guess it is referring to the wrong prop slot? Thats why is not showing?

It’s probably due to the hide prop data in the evt_data file. This data enables the prop show up for the default Cena attire only.

Hi, I ve had a look at the chunk0.def file and from the file structure in your game, it isnt surprising this evt_data issue didnt work.

You have multiple copies of the evt-data dile in the mods folder and the game will only read one at random, so the file you made the changes to isnt the one the game is reading.

here are the locations where you have a copy of the evt-data file

mods\cct\entrances\pac\evt\evt_data.pac

mods\cct\pac\evt\evt_data.pac

mods\pac\evt\evt_data.pac

This will cause a lot of issues. You can't have multiple evt folders and evt data files  in your mods folder.

You have the data editor folder and cct folder inside the main 2k19 folder. You shouldn't place folders for tools or backup folders inside your game folder

cct\templates\character_template.pac
cct\templates\render_template.pac
cct\templates\ss_apron_template.pac
cct\templates\ss_mini_template.pac
cct\templates\ss_ramp_template.pac
cct\templates\ss_wall_template.pac
data editor 2k19\resources\superstring\pac\string\win\string_win.pac.

All these folders shouldn't be in your game.

The mods folder should only have one evt_data file . 

This is the cause of the issue. Its nothing to do with the game save as it doesnt store evt data.

You can edit the data for hidden entrance props.

Decompress the 000E file in the evt-data.pac and open in a text editor

Change the 0 highlighted here to 13912 then save and reinject back into the evt_data.pac file.

That's the ID for the entrance. You wouldn't be modifying that value.

I'm very sorry... I didn't articulat well enough what i was meaning when i said that he's hat is missing.
So.. on the second attire i have injected ch356, all is fine with the character model, now thanks to you all is fine with the entrance, but he hat that he is missing is the hat from ch356 model, i don't want the hat from the original model ch139.
BTW the hat from the original Cena(attire 1 ch139) is appearing on the models from 2k15 which are implemented on attire 5 & 6, and it is not what iam looking for.It is immersion breaking because the original hat is green.

Can you change the first 0 in the 141 row in the 000E to 35612, save and inject.

i did...still he has the green hat on every attire :(

This is for the missing hat prop in the 36512 attire not the green hat issue.

 Implementing multiple attires for characters like Cena has its challenges due to the cap props which need to be swapped. Some models have a cap in the ch pac so this also has to be taken into consideration. It’s difficult to fix without one knowing which character mods are in each attire slot.There are two data files in the evt_data. pac which contain info on Cenas Hats used in the default models. Without modifying these files, things wouldn’t work as they should.

ch13912/4 - John Cena '13 2k19 (original ch356). Entrance - 00141

ch13922/4 - John Cena '03 2k19 (original ch375). Entrance - 00142

ch13932/4 - John Cena Custom made with assets from CC, this actually works as intended with all attire parts.

ch13942/4 - John Cena red t-shirt MitB 2k15 (original ch13912/4). Entrance - 00136 (ported from 2k15)

ch13952/4 - John Cena navy t-shirt 2k15 (original ch13932/4). Entrance - 00136 (ported from 2k15)

ch13962/4 - John Cena 2k17 (original ch13902/4). Entrance - 00139

ch13972/4 - John Cena '06 2k18 (original ch35602/4). Entrance - 00140

ch13982/4 - John Cena '10 2k18 (original ch37502/4). Entrance - 00139

ch13992/4 - John Cena 2k19 with new haircut - This one is just  like the original only with the new haircut.

The two files which contain data for Cena's caps are the 000E file (hide prop data) and 000A file. The 000A file swaps hat props but its much harder to modify . 

The only way I can assist with this is one attire at a time. Its also much easier If I had the full mod installed so I can actually see the ID's for the props loading in each entrance as these Cena hats including Taker's  are really tricky to implement properly. 

For instance from the information you've provided, I can't tell you what to add or change in the 000A file without first experimenting myself.

Hi, I downloaded the files and previewed the entrance set for all attires .

The 13912 attire now has the proper hat. The way it works is the 000A file swaps the original green hat for the 356 attire hat.

The 13972 attire also had a missing hat which ive now fixed.

The 2k15  entrance loads the original black\green hat which is why it shows for those attires. In 2k15 the developers had a red hat and navy blue hat prop which was swapped with the green one when those attires were selected. These hats are no more in the game. There are two of each since the 2k15 entrance uses two hats,  .I used the 2k19 green hat 2812  and a second green hat prop 2813 which I added to the ported entrances pack. You will need the correct hat props.
