TUTORIAL: assigning different entrance motions for alternate attires in WWE 2k19

yeah I'll just leave the props I said I have above that I already gathered from other places. in the gentleman's mod I linked on the page, he didn't have prop mods for those attires that I saw. Do I need to change the ID of any of them by any chance?

No. The prop ID's are 4001 and 2829 as you have listed and these are already set in the entrance files.

okay so i just ran Hogan's first entrance. the chrome affect was there no problem. only issue. When he takes off the boa, there isn't an indication that the boa comes off. it's like the one he wears to the ring disappears and he's taking off an imaginary one. The shirt rips, but like his skin bleeds through it though. 

I'm going to try his second attire entrance to see if that will work at all as well right now. 

 

Update: Okay this is awesome. So the second attire does everything like you said with no Problem at all. The only issue again is the BOA not showing up once he's in the ring and his skin bleeding through the shirt as he rips it. 

The only thing I can think of is maybe the project hogan file mod I downloaded is not having it's own boa prop and an issue with it not having it's own shirt prop. Is that a logical explanation?

Hi,

The issue with the shirt prop bleeding is due to the models in subsequent games after 2k15 being a different size so the 2k15 props don't fit or scale properly.

I have both shirt prop objects which have been resized so it doesn't bleed through when he removes it. Its just a workaround. None of these are going to work perfectly.

I have also included the prop objects for both boa's. You will notice the dark texture along the edges of the feathers. It just the way 2k19 renders the texture. It didn't occur in previous games.

Squared Fan circle you're amazing man. Thank you for all of the help and advice. With all of these things you've done, Can the same thing be done hypothetically for the undertaker? Like an entrance he removes the hat and one he doesn't if he isn't wearing a coat with a hat. I might give it a try after i do some other mods.

When you do this methodology you explained for the Undertaker for example, do I still take it with the same approach by editing the evt_data file and just adding a new-line after the first 1024 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 8?

correct. Since your evt-data file will have data for the Hogan alternate entrance, you can add the Undertaker's below it.

I would like to try this but need a little help in understanding. I would love to give triple h his hunter hearst helmsley entrance motion under attire 5 or 7. But, I'm confused on where to find the evt id.

 

So I think I've made a little progress can someone  tell me if this is what it should look like for triple h's hunter hearst helmsley entrance under attire 5 or 7.

Hi,

Yes you do have the right idea but you will need to ensure you have the correct value for thye evt's.

The 1121 here represents the ID for the default entrance set. That's the entrance ID for the main attire.Do take note TripleH 's entrance in the game isn't 1121 and the Hunter Hearst Helmsley ported entrance isn't 1122 , unless you have an evt file with that ID.

You also need to write the correct attire ID's.

Attire 5 will be 35842 if you have counted the main attire as attire 1

Attire 7 will be 35862 .

Attire 10 is 35892. etc.

Thank you for that clarification on the attire id's but how do i find the correct evt ids I got my information from WWE 2k19 Master Universal EVT List spreadsheet where should  I be looking instead.

Usually the ID's for the EVT files are listed in the Data Editor entrances ID dropdown list.

If you have the ported entrances pack, it includes the Hunter Hearst Helmsley ported entrance and its ID is 548. The ID for the default Triple H entrance is 102.

I see that the triple h id is 102 but I actually meant for triple h 01(attitude era HHH). Also in the entrance motion dropdown list in data editor under entrance and moveset section I still see hunter hearst helmsley mod entrance under 1122. Not sure why I'm seeing like this. Also 548 slot seems to be completely blank in data editor.

In 2k19 there are only two Triple H entrances. The default one which is 102 and the DX entrance which is evt 358. The developers assigned the 102 entrance to Triple H 01 in 2k19.

The entrance names listed with ID's 11XX are not part of the game but are unused slots for ported entrances. You will notice beside these names is the word MOD. This means they don't come with the game and have to be ported over from previous games.

Take note not all the ported entrances are listed in  Data Editor. If you have ported entrances in the pac\evt folder, you will find they include the name of the character and the ID  for the entrance. 

If you look in the pac\evt folder, you will notice there isn't an entrance with the ID 01122.

Gotcha so i looked at the evt folder and i do see hunter hearst helmsleys id as 548 so I would write it out  as

That’s correct. Depending on what you want to do, if you are planning to use a different theme for these entrances, it wouldn’t work. You might be better off placing your Hunter Hearst Helmsley attire mods on an unused slot.

I was eventually planning on using your other tutorial to add different theme music for those slots but i guess i'll take what i can get, but just curious as to why wouldn't be able to implement the different theme songs for said slots.

From experimenting, Ive discovered the alternate theme music will only work with attire 2 . I couldn't get it work properly on multiple attires.

I see this topic has been resurrected :)

So... I don't think it works anymore...at least not on latest vers.
Maybe it worked on earlier versions of the game....

I don't know if 1.04 is th latest vers. of the game...but on the latest vers. downloaded from steam... it does not work.

1.04 is the last released version for WWE 2k19.

I can confirm this does work. If it doesn’t work for you, I will have to say it’s probably a step you haven’t done correctly . If you can state what you have tried to change and post a screenshot of the edits you made
