When wrestle plus is installed the new rising stars wrestlers disappear. I have uninstalled and reinstalled multiple times. I have also started with a new install of the game and a new save and get the same result.

Hi, I seem to be having a problem, after WrestlePLUS downloads the default needed files, everyone but Ricochet from the Rising Stars pack can no longer be selected in Play. Also, after installing a mod, every time WrestlePLUS injects Pac Plus, going to Create A Moveset has this glitch where the superstar images are mismatched, there are multiple copies of some superstars (mostly AJ Styles, about 8 copies of him with empty renders), and several of them have empty renders. What I do to fix it is verify game files, paste over a backup saved game, and restart the game, and the other Rising Stars pack characters (Candice, Lacey, etc.) can be selected again. I then run WrestlePLUS, which redownloads all needed files, then the Rising Stars characters disappear again. Can anyone guide me into what I'm doing wrong?

EDIT: The problem seems to be coming from both Pac Plus and PerfectPlextra. I copied over the backup PerfectPlextra files and the Rising Stars characters returned. I then injected Pac Plus manually and they disappeared again. Are these components updated for 1.04/Rising Stars or am I doing anything wrong? I also tried verifying the DLC through the Play menu, after injecting Pac Plus it still doesn't work. Thanks for any help!

You don't need PacPlus if you have installed PerfectPlextra and vice versa. Both do exactly the same thing (except for cawless slots/mods imho)!

Thank you for the reply. I see, I just went with the default selected options, though even with only one of them enabled the issue still persists. I guess when choosing between them, it comes down to whether one prefers the CAWless slots (Pac Plus) or not having to open WrestlePLUS every time you play (PerfectPlextra)?

Should I hold off on adding any modded superstars for now, or can I add modded ones as long as they don't occupy the PacPlus/PerfectPlextra slots? It only seems to break when either of the two is enabled. Will there be no slot issues like what I experienced in Create-a-Moveset?

I can confirm that I don't have the Rising Stars DLC Superstars not showing up glitch. Maybe you guys need to verify the integrity of your game files and then try installing WrestlePlus again. Since I don't have any issues we can confirm that it wasn't a problem with the recent WrestlePlus update.

@mamoru127 The above is true. However, PerfectPlextra is compatible with PacPlus and you should be able to have PerfectPlextra installed even when using PacPlus. The PacPlus settings should simply override PerfectPlextra's while PacPlus is active. Although I could imagine that if you do use CAWless Mod while PacPlus is active it could lead to some CAW Slots to being messed up while PacPlus isn't active, but I'm not sure.

Rising Stars Pack DLC Wrestlers (names) not appearing in the game is usually due to the v1.04 compatible version of Super String not being installed correctly or the Chunk0.def pointing to the vanilla game String instead of the Super String.

I think I found my error lol. I downloaded the Super String update from the Resources thread manually, and...copied it over the string_win.pac file in the pac/string folder of the game directory.

This most likely is the correct way, from the wiki: It's highly recommended to install it into the \WWE 2k19\mods\Super String\pac\string\winfolder for WWE 2k19

Where does WrestlePlus place the updated Super String though? In WrestlePlus's initial setup I think it downloaded the updated string_win file automatically, but there's no mods folder. Does it overwrite the vanilla game string file? I guess to fix my blunder I'd have to verify game files, untick the string_win download from WrestlePlus's initial setup, then place the updated Super String into the mods path above? I'll try this out later after work.

Thanks for the help. It's my first time moving to PC from consoles after seeing everything modding can offer 😋

Okay...it still didn't work. What I did:

1. Verify game files

2. Uninstalled WrestlePlus using the setup file

3. Deleted my save, then started a new game to create a new one - also confirmed Rising Stars superstars are still complete

4. Checked to make sure the Super String file is still in this path: \WWE 2k19\mods\Super String\pac\string\win (it is), also checked if my Chunk0.arc is empty (it is)

5. Installed WrestlePlus using the setup file

6. Opened WrestlePlus, unticked string_win.pac and left everything else as is

7. Opened the game, everyone but Ricochet in Rising Stars pack disappeared again, became sad

After this, some more items I tried that failed to fix it:

1. Checked my Chunk0.def, CTRL+F to search for string_win.pac, and it's pointing to default pac/string directory. Changed it to above path, which made it freeze in copyright screen. Removed space in "\Super String\" part of the path and in the folder structure, it fixed the freeze but the Rising Stars DLC issue persists

2. Clicked on Update String button in WrestlePlus to check where it saves the Super String file - it overwrites the vanilla string file in pac/string directory. Checked the md5 hash to see if I somehow got an outdated file - hashes matched in both the WrestlePlus auto-downloaded string file and the Common Modding Resources file, so my string file's up to date. Tried running the game with the Super String file in both pac/string and mods/SuperString folders, and with the default path and the SuperString path (not both at the same time) in my Chunk0.def file - DLC issue persists in both attempts.

Can anyone provide any further help in fixing this? I don't want to reinstall the game again as I just did that this Tuesday, and our Internet speed isn't good. Again the issue only appears when either PerfectPlextra or PacPlus gets used in-game. I'd want to use the extra slots provided by these two. At this point I've verified my game files again, and deleted the newly created save. I also haven't started WrestlePlus so I currently have a vanilla installation, except for the Super String file in the mods folder, and an AJ Lee pac file in the ch folder which does nothing since I haven't injected anything yet. Thanks!

@mamoru127 Try to use CCT to install the Super String and then run CCT's Chunk0.def Regenerator (Full Option). Maybe that will work.

Thank you! Finally it worked, the DLC issue is gone. It seems WrestlePlus and CCT have different file structures when it comes to the resource mods. I can now start modding my game again. Thanks!

Hey guys,
I'm totally new to this.  I believe a week after I got the game, before I could mod, is when Wrestleplus went down.  I have a bunch of blank names, because I tried putting NPCs over not knowing how to do it correctly.  I was excited to see that Wrestleplus has an update.  My problem:

I tried to update to 3.03, I go through all the motions but it won't update.  I tried to use that setup to modify, repair, and remove, but I'm not getting any progress.  Also, I'm not able to select the new DLC characters in play mode and the image doesn't match the names in Universe mode. Do I need to remove and redownload Wrestleplus? How do I remove it?

The only thing that isn't working for me is the match edit tool in WrestlePlus. It says that it injects the changes I make, but when I try to read it again it goes back to the original settings. Once I open Match Edit it says E60 in a textbox. Whatever that means . . .Error 60???

The Rising Stars DLC showed up for me after I started with a new save. This sucks though cause I had done a ton of work on my other save. I kept the other save and am going to try to get it to work but I am not holding my breath. I want to use wrestle plus for the ability of being able to edit the string.

I re-uploaded the super string to the Wrestleplus server perhaps people were somehow receiving the old file when running though the setup again.

Unfortunately, I have the same problem. A few minutes ago I downloaded the new Superstring again. All DLC Superstars are shown with their names and render in the game and are playable. As soon as I open Wrestle + and Pac Plus is loaded, the render of the DLC characters is removed and the match can not be loaded.

Can there be a conflict with Perfect Plextra? I have it installed. I know normally not both are necessary. However, it does not work for me this year. The only option to use the extended slots is Pac Plus.

I have another phenomenon. If I edit the superstring and change a test attire name with the same length, this will also appear in the game. However, in the Attire (only inside Wrestle +) are still displayed the old names that are no longer existent.
