Featherine Posted May 25, 2018 Posted May 25, 2018 (edited) Hello, i've just started modding this game a few days ago and I've spent most of the time reading the documentation and watching videos to learn how to properly add anything I want without trouble, but I found a hole I can't get out of due to a mixture of me being new and not having a foolproof enough explanation on how to do this. I'm trying to mod WK12 Jericho in the game and so far I've done a good job. Got the CH-PACs in, he looks alright, got the music in, sounds perfect, but I'm having a problem with his Titantron, namely the Titantron itself, since the apron/ribbon/ramp/wall ones were installed without issue. The big one at the top is not working, it's still the List of Jericho Titantron and I don't know what to do. The wiki says to "Follow this Tutorial by WormieGamez" and I did, and that tutorial worked for all the 4 minitrons mentioned above, but not for the Titantron, because CCT doesn't install anything on the mods folder when you "inject" the Titantron movie, it just says "bk2 file has been successfully injected into ! You still have to assign that file with Data Editor!", unlike the other 4 minitrons where it says "bk2 file has been successfully injected into [steamapps/common/wwe2k18/mods/pac/mov/etcetc]! You still have to assign that file with Data Editor!". I'll add that while typing this I checked the game's base movies/titantron folder and there was a file called ent_0104_0_0.bk2 that I confirmed to be the modded Titantron I want the game to show so I guess CCT "injected" it there? Shouldn't it be in the mods folder? Also there are three 0104 files in that folder called ent_0104_0_0_0/ent_0104_0_0_1/ent_0104_0_0_2 respectively and I've read somewhere that I have to rename my custom Titantron 3 times or something? I tried but it didn't work, I honestly have no idea what I'm doing at this point and there's not enough documentation that properly explains this specific step. Also the video that CCT put inside the titantron folder was missing one Zero in its filename. Alternatively I've read in this thread that it's possible to add trons without actually replacing a tron from someone on the roster, how would I do that? I'd appreciate any help since I've been almost a day with this and haven't been able to figure it out yet. Edited May 25, 2018 by Featherine Quote
Cave Waverider Posted May 25, 2018 Posted May 25, 2018 Titantrons come in three different sizes for different arena types. However, some tron IDs can only use the old tron format. It depends on the Titantron ID. Most in-game wrestlers go with the three different trons, like Jericho, others just use the old tron format from previous games. Thus you'll have to add a version of each of the three existing trons to work in all arena types. You can convert a titantron video to a different size with RAD Video Tools by selecting Bink it and setting the appropriate resolution. You can find out more about the sizes of trons on this Wiki page. Quote

After I get the three bk2 files properly maded with RAD Video Tools, where should I put them? mods/movies/titantron or movies/titantron? Also, do I have to do anything else after putting the files in? Or just grabbing the bk2 and renaming it 3 times is enough? Quote
Cave Waverider Posted May 25, 2018 Posted May 25, 2018 Just in \movies\titantron\ and replace the existing files with the appropriate ending. Quote
