Move animations from older games - additional moves and Fixes -25th June - Hulk Hogan Comeback animation now added

Thank you! Question... have you found the original Figure Four Leglock? It's the standard ground version that's been in forever( I think it was called Figure 4 Leglock 1) but it was remove in 2k18 and another version was renamed that.

Hi, 

The files I am porting over are not in the game, but the ID slots are there . The dev's removed them. What I am doing is extracting the move animation file from one of the previous games ( 2k15,16 or 17) . I will look for the ID for figure 4 leglock ( one figure 4 leglock is disabled by the Dev's due to glitches in 2k18) . I will check it out and let you know my findings.

Do you think  it's  possible to port 2k17 Goldberg "running spear" as special/finisher?

2k  removed that move in WWE 2K18 :( .

I know that spear. Spear 4. It's glitchy in 2k18, probably why 2k removed it. Will try it with some data from one of the other spear animations and see what happens

I have very specific request. Can you move some animations to "running grapple" category? Previously long time ago in a galaxy far far away Smackdown! and SvR series had for example spears in running grapple, now they are located in running strikes, which made running grapple category quite empty. There are moves for high-flyers, maybe technicians, but brawlers and powerhouses don't have any except belly-to-belly suplex.

So what I'm asking, can you please port some moves to running grapples category? There are now new moves in previous WWE 2K games, but in a current some suit very well.

Frank, you can actually do this yourself using the Cave's incredible tool, "Data Editor". Just find grapples that would work well animation wise and remember that most strong strikes work well as running grapples. You can come up with some awesome stuff using the Data Editor!

Very true. Though what he probably will want is to have the moves selectable in the particular menu. With @Cave Waverider's editor, you will basically just be hacking the move into the character's moveset, just like how The Hogan taunts were done last year. Some variables can be changed for certain moves. For instance, one can move a combo strike to the Comeback Category or moves some strong strike moves to the strike combo category. Though the data editor is more flexible as you can hack any move any in any category which the CAM wouldn't let you do.

Hi, some of these moves work depending on the position of the attacker. I can try this if you will let me know a few moves you will like to change. Remember this is more personal as other gamers might prefer the default option. Do send me a list of a few moves and i'll see what I can do

Looked at the Figure 4 leg lock, Ric Flair's version. The ported animation is glitchy . The animation file has been removed and disabled by 2k since wwe 2k16. The listing is in the createmode.pac but 2k marked it as REMOVED .

Hi all,

I had promised that I will update the ported move files on Friday ,but I still need more time to test for glitches in some of the moves during gameplay, so there will be a bit of a delay. I have also been working on the breakout and Run in trigger for the 2k15 ported entrance and victory animations. My findings are it will only work when the EVP and EVZ files are injected into a 2k18 victory or entrance file and the Hex ID's changed to the ID'S of the 2k18 slot. At the moment I had to use Savio Vega's entrance and one of the generic winning animations I don't use. I will be doing this for the 2K15 CM Punk and all the Hulk Hogan Entrance and Victory animations. The only snag there is which animations I will have to replace. I guess It's a matter of personal choice. As I posted on Friday, here is a link to the Hollywood Hogan entrance motion  injected into Savio Vega's 2k18 entrance with the ID's changed.

As you will see in the video, the breakout trigger works, (Run in also works) and the Hollywood Hulk Hogan entrance monochrome filter  is disabled when triggered.

Any more luck in finding more hidden moves?  I was wondering if there's a way to get a couple of strong strikes from 2k17 in?

Haymaker and Knee Strike 3 (Piper's running knee)

Hi, 

I've found some hidden moves which did not work properly during gameplay so I had to re-lock them. I had ported one of the Haymaker moves previously but it isn't in the strong strikes category (it's in the combo strikes category). The other Haymaker moves did not work. I will try moving it to the strong category and look into the knee strike.

Oh. I think that move is called Emerald Fusion. That's the move with the head damage.It has been removed from the game. I will try porting it over to see if it works. The move presently in the game is called emerald flowsion which targets damage to the body. I will look into the death valley driver you mentioned.
