Render Replacment Without Waiting For Visual Studio

Thing U Need

Paint.net(Free)

X-Packer(Paid).You Dont Wanna Pay Only For Render.

Try Awesome Tutorial Made By Perfectplex I Done With Video Below!

Image As Png From WWE.com(Free)

Once you have that lets start!

1. Open X-packer and then open Pac containing archives in PC Section and extract the specific PACH File,Now open the PACH file, Uncompress the 0001.zlib file of specific PACH file, (the ID table is given And Made By Perfectplex Link:http://smacktalks.org/forums/topic/63174-replacing-renders-without-x-packer/?page=)

2.(Now usually when a render is not previously modded the files appears as 2 0001.bpe and 0001.zlib in that case delete the BPE file and change the format of Zlib file into DDS format) in other case delete the simple 0001.zlib file and change the format of 0001.zlib.compress to 0001.dds

3. Open it with Paint.net and edit the the render and save it in DDS FORMAT

I Offer Use Perfectplex Method For Paint.net Resizing once you have done with paint.net renders Save As .dds

Export Setting

3eec1f98dd30a64947542bd6b8ccbe20.png

4. Now, change the saved 0001.dds format to PAC and compress and inject the render in the specific Type A/B/C you are working on.

5. and then INJECT the specific PACH file into the specific Type A/B/C file you are working on, (Also inject the file 2 times just in case that it works correctly. :) )

That is it, by this you can make your own renders through X-Packer.!
Also if something arrives up, any error or crash just tell me what happened I'll help you.!

VERY nice tutorial! Thank you for that! :D

Much respect for your work. Just a little question:

Which sizes of the renders are for type a and type b?

In the video you wrote that:

"7-Done ! Remember The Size ! 1024x1024=type b

8-1024x1024 for type a"

Same size?? I dont think so XD

And another question. Perfectplex said that he has not uploaded a tutorial yet how to use the original renders AND the new ones.

But in your game the renders are still there. How did you do that? :D

Type a and b have the same sizes (1024x1024)

Type b is basically a contiuation of type a

Nope, I looked for it in the internet and saw, that typeb is 1042x1024!

typea is 1024x1024 (height same as bright)

What you saw was incorrect, mate. Both images should be 1024x1024.

If what you say is true, why should 2K use two different renders (typea and typeb) if they are the same? Also see what robbie686 wrote in his "replacing renders with X-Packer" Thread:

"Changing Renders - Typea 1024 x 1024 / Typeb 1042 x 1024 / Typec 512 x512"

Because the type a renders are rendered differently due to how the images are displayed on the match-up screen. They're squashed vertically, so there needs to be another version of the image resized within the canvas to counteract this, with the canvas size still remaining the same. What robbie wrote there was merely a typo, and if you read the rest of the post he instructs you to use 1024x1024 sizing with the type a's and b's.

I've replaced countless renders, and opening the unedited render files directly from the game gives you a 1024x1024 image if you open the type a or type b.

Nice tutorial.

I don't know if you want to remake it using the updated zip file, it no longer contains the shade files as they we're unneeded.

Still looking into ways to get renders to work on mods or at the least be able to use renders from characters you don't use on your mods instead (eg: use Stunning Steve Austins render on a mod).

Not sure what you mean.

What I was saying is your tutorial shows the old zip, so was just giving you a heads up incase you wanted to update the tutorial to use the new zip file so people don't ask you about the shade files.

I've never uploaded videos or made video tutorials so if it takes a long time then its probably not worth remaking the tutorial with the new zip for the sake of a couple of old files :p

Just didn't want people asking you about the files that are no longer in the zip.
