Some community DLC won't install?

Hi folks, first post here and likely not my last, hoping I can get some help. I've managed to install some community DLC stuff (namely Hollywood Hogan port) which all worked well, but some stuff just won't work for me. I have the latest string.PAC and the Universal Attire Unlocker both installed, but for example I can't get any alternate attires for Hollywood to appear in the game and I tried installing Lord Justice's Konnan, but it just won't show.

Anyone have any ideas what I'm doing wrong? I'm using Custom Character Tools to inject the files.

Check out this thread first: http://smacktalks.org/forums/topic/61256-tutorials-frequently-asked-questions-mod-database-added/

Also check out pozzum's video tutorials to make sure you installed everything correctly.

As for alternate attires. The Universal Unlocker does not unlock alternate attires for added superstars. You have to use Cave's tool to manually unlock the correct amount of attires for whatever slots you installed those added superstars in.

Thanks for the reply buddy. Yeah I for example gave Hollywood 10 attire slots and they showed up on the selection screen but selecting any of them just gave him the same attire. With your Konnan I installed the PAC file, was I supposed to install any pofo/moveset files and activate attires for him too? EDIT: Found the pofo/moveset database haha, maybe that'll help.

Sorry for the newbie questions, I'm not really a stranger to installing mods and stuff and I've modded the crap out of all my music and trons and other bits with this game and installed a few comm DLCs, but I'm just having trouble with some of them haha.

Yes you need to install pofos and movesets anytime you install an added character.

Right you are, dumbass mistake on my part :/ Still having trouble getting alt attires to work properly but I'm probably not reading something properly somewhere.

if the alt Attires all look like attire 1, then you haven't installed the ch*.pac files for the alternate attires properly (be it not installed at all or have not renamed the PACH files inside the ch*.pac files properly - the PACH files (in the EMD section if you open them with a Hex Editor like HxD) are named 000XXXYZ where XXX is the Wrestler ID which must be the same for all attires, Y is the attire number (0 = Attire 1, 1 = Attire 2,..., 9 = Attire 10) and Z is the Attire type (2 = ring gear, 4 = entrance gear). You can change them with a Hex Editor or with X-Packer, although installing the properly named chXXXYZ.pac files with Custom Character Tools should already rename the PACH files properly.
