hovathagod32
Cool! I have a first pass version of Slamboree '98 that is looking pretty decent. I'll try Thunder over Payback next. If you have a good Thunder logo that would be awesome. Which year are you going for? Not sure if I'll be able to do the lightning effects, but I can probably do a good background for '98 or '99 if I find clean source footage.Trouble with them is that some .bk2 files have a larger vertical resolution than others (like Summerslam). One of the files in the pach I *think* controls the display settings (dimensions, duration, font, etc) - but I have no idea how to edit it. Right now if I inject a pach to a different arena the game freezes sometimes (hit or miss) - so I have to basically tailor the graphics to the arena setup.for Payback I want the normal Thunder, before they added the TBS piece to it. So the Thunder 98-Early 99 look before the change. The logo I made was for Thunder 99-2001 on consoles I can probably a make logo that's close to the original Thunder logo.. If lightning effects are needed I can add it, it just won't be animated on my part. I drew up and textured the lightning for mines, so it's not really a 3D rendering.. I just added a lot of shadow, gradient, and embossing in photoshop to make it kinda pop.. I don't think the lightning being animated is a MUST. I'll have to look at the plates for actual Thunder show to see how it was done. Just PM me ideas and we can figure it out. My plan with a lot of these arenas that I can't use in game 3d objects for is to retexture the work that I did on console so they look presentable without the Header/Minitron trick I used to do in Create-An-Arena. So I think that I want The Normal Thunder to be on a flat surface because the texture image had a ramp in it. I'm not sure if I'll keep Lordjustice's version of Thunder yet. His entry way is from the original first few episodes of Thunder(which is amazing to me), but his ringside area is from the later 99-2001 look. If keep it, I'll just retexture the ringside area to match the original look which had some weird rock texture aprons.... No real Thunder logos anywhere lol. So if I keep it that arena probably won't stay in the slot that it's in right now in his MNW pack. Still a lot to figure out with arrangement because of the issue with the fact that arenas which have ramps and ones that have flat surfaces are hardcoded into the arentrance##.pac file and cannot be changed no matter what edits you do.. So I wanna make sure that arena's that had actual ramps are taken care of before I just texture ramps on the arenas that are flat.
Stinger10
Just joined this site, been looking for Sting attires and stumbled upon this. First off, these are amazing. Sting 97-99 is my favorite and you nailed all of these. Anyway my question is, how on earth do you get the red pads on the Wolfpac sting. 2K won't let ya edit the color so how did ya manage to pull it off? Thank you. These are texture mods. so if you're not on PC, it's possible to add red pads, but these downloads/attires won't work for you. It was just me drawing it in photoshop, injecting it into the characters texture files and putting the textures back in the game. If you're on console you can do it with adding patterns, but it just won't come out as well. There will be a blur with them. You won't have the hair or facepaints either. Check Community Creations if you're on Console. search the tag #PhillyMavs32. hovathagod32
Minor update. updated the ring area. There's some work needed to be done with the logos. They come off bigger than they look in photoshop. Still haven't figured out how to change the colors of the ramp lighting, as well as the crowd lights. Red works because of Wolfpac Savage, but I want to get rid of that red completely. Messing around with different ceiling lighting options but nothing so far. I really just have to add the Slamboree Banners and it's pretty much finished.. Want to add some kind of shine to the turnbuckles as well(that goes for all WCW turnbuckles). I think I'll give SuperBrawl VIII a go next.
Dennis-Bieser
Slamboree '98 looks awesome. It would be great to fight in the Great American Bash' 98 arena with Hogan/Hart and Savage/Piper or The Giant and Sting

It mostly be a texture change so it's not THAT hard.. I'll try after I make an attempt at SuperBrawl VIII.
hovathagod32
lol I kinda stopped messing around with SuperBrawl and wanted to redo Nitro after looking at Goldberg's 2K17 entrance again.... So I've been messing around with that, as far as banner work, and placement In the meantime I've been in a drawing mood and wanted to get this Crow Sting project finished. Wanted to know if anyone had any requests on any particular facepaints/attires that they wanted to see?So far I have the following:WCW vs the WorldStarrcadeSuperBrawl VIIISpring Stampede 98Slamboree 98I'm working on the Scorpion for Uncensored 98's attire and touching up my scorpion for Slamboree, so I can finally release my 10th attire for Wolfpac Sting. Def wanna try this one lol: If you guys have any requests let me know. Like I said, I'll likely go over 10 attires so if you have any in mind, show me references of the paints or the attire and I'll probably do them. Just to be clear.. Crow only. No real interest in Surfer/Late surfer Sting right now, but I may do a few if I create a Bogus/nWo Sting mod later on.

Should be pretty easy, just use one of the Usos boots didn't think about that.. i was going to find and extract the taped boots dds from the caw textures in the footwear section and layer it onto Sting's normal boots. I already have that grunge looking scorpion finished so that will be an easy one now.

My biggest issue is early crow when it was short, and later when it was covering his face a lot.. Haven't really gotten those down yet
solidassassin47
I was thinking with the early version of the Crow sting could you go with the classic Ric Flair DLC hair and alter to your liking as that has the shape of the early days of the Crow Sting,

I've been working with Regal's hair.. I'll try to see how it looks later on. I really wish I could get this look, though Really don't wanna texture it on the facepaint like it's WCW/nWo Revenge or something lol.. I wanted to do some rafter attires before he ended up wrestling at Starrcade 97. Does anyone know if the Undertaker has a hairstyle that goes across the face? Rollins maybe, Idk.. I'll mess around later.

I know some of his Ministry attire hairstyles hang over his face a bit, this is as much as it gets though:Shame you can't have two hairstyles on one wrestler (that I know of, anyway), Dean Ambrose fringe with something like Kane's hair would work. Was watching Spring Stampede 99 earlier and there's another good Sting attire in there, it'd also use the Uso boots but with black wraps instead of white. That particular 99 era look is pretty much finished. The only thing I really have to do is draw the logo on the back of the jacket for instances when he actually wore one, and finish the facepaint. I noticed his Starrcade coat had a rainbow scorpion on the back. Gotta do that too.. My plan today was to preview the vs The World era Sting to see how the hair came out but my medication had other plans lmao.. I spent a lot of the day resting. I'll try to do more this week. If that particular Regal hair fails, I'll try Terminators and mess around with the alphas to see if it'll make some of the hair in the front invisible to give the illusion like it's hanging strands. idk. I've been working on my Nitro 99 texture to make it look a bit more realistic for in game use, and working on Nitro 97-98 with a smaller, realistic WCW ramp... Now that you mention Stampede, I'm now wondering if I can get my old Stampede 99 texture to look good in game without it being placed on minitrons and headers lol When I get around to that era hopefully I can find some 3d objects to use in so I won't really have to use a 2d image.. Do something creative the way that @Red Rooster was able to do in 2K14 or WWE13 I believe. Those were fucking amazing..I wish the resources for this game were as good enough to manipulate or I could import my own 3d objects. That'd make things a helluva lot easier and accurate. There probably is a way, I just have to learn more. Still trying to figure out how to change light colors of the crowd and stage/ramp lol Edited September 11, 2016 by hovathagod32
hovathagod32
Tried a few with Regal's hair, I think i screwed it up because it I tried to edit the back and the front got a little messed up.. I'll figure it out later, and try other hair choices until I get it right. If I can get the first pic style, with the back shape of the 2nd pic, I think that'll be ok. (Note: face paint isn't finished)
hovathagod32
Still trying to get Sting's hair right lol.. Kinda maddening how annoying this process has became. I really want it to be as accurate as I can get it lol. In the meantime here's a WIP of Thunder. Credit @SLX for the texture. I'm going to work on making this look better as well later, because until I figure out crowd lighting during matches, I have to find a flat arena that has blue lights. I figure if I keep jumping from project to project, it won't take long to complete because only minor adjustments will need to be made haha

I've been looking at a bunch of videos of this era, and his hair was all over the place, so I'm just going to pick a look and stick with it. Because I'll be working on this forever trying to get it right for just ONE attire lolI'll try for this I guess. I've spent too much time on figuring this out when I got so many other attires to do lol
