To help those of you who may still be struggling with installing this classic Hogan the way I was (I've noticed several over the past week or so),

I've put together a package of files with full instructions on how to install everything, including full moveset, taunts, entrance, and winning animations. 

Just download the files,  extract to your desktop,  open the Readme text file and follow the instructions.  Please be sure to make up all of your original files before copying the files in this package.  Myself, LouEvil76,  pozzum, and TheVisitorX are not responsible for any damages caused to your game.  Mod at your own risk.

Note: There is only 1 Hogan character model included in my package, but you should definitely check out LouEvil76's incredible Hogan mods for additional attires (and more!) HERE

 

You will need to download two incredible tools by TheVisitorX to fully utilize this installation kit:

I also HIGHLY recommend Data Editor by Cave Waverider.  This will allow you to adjust a lot more than what I've included:

IMPORTANT :  If you have downloaded and installed this kit prior to Thursday May 12, 2016 at 9:00 PM Central Standard Time, you should go in to your games PAC/EVT folder and delete some unnecessary files.  This should fix the issue with Big Bossman's nightstick, King's headset, etc.

From my testing, the most important ones to delete seem to be:

evt_prop01.pac

evt_prop02.pac

evt_prop04.pac

...and all of the evtmov files from the Hogan Kit download.

The full list of files not needed is shown below.  I'm not sure if you maybe had other mods installed that depended on some of these files, so I strongly suggest you move ALL of the files shown below into a backup folder, then launch the game and test all of your mods to see if any were affected.  Regardless, this should fix any bugs you experienced with Bossman's nightstick and King's headset, etc.  UPDATE:  Keep evt_prop03 and evt_prop05 in your folder.  This affect's more recent Hogan's boa.

Is there any way to change the entrance theme of these 2K15 mods?  When I try RVD for example,  it defaults the entire entrance to Adam Rose.

If RVD's entrance animation worked properly before you installed my files, you may have had a custom RVD entrance pac assignment.  You can fix it by downloading a .Moveset file for RVD and editing it in Data Editor by TheVisitorX.  When I get home from work later I can check on my installation to see exactly which moveset .pac number works with RVD.

this is what we need more of, i understand alot of people here have alot of experience with mods and modding, but some of us just get a little overwhelmed or whatever the scenario may be, so thank you so much, on behalf of the noobish lol. would love to see you do more of these.

At first glance I was ok with this, unfortunately I feel you've gone a bit to far to the point of including the Sound injector & the Custom Character Tools also included in the download.  I would advise removing these and replacing them with hyperlink shortcuts to either the respective adfly link or thread unless @TheVisitorX is ok with this as is.

Ahhhh...good point.  I didn't think about the adfly revenue that could be lost by bypassing the links.  Good call.  I'll recompile the archive without those programs and reupload.  My bad.  I was just trying to be helpful as I'm sure you know, pozzum.    

@jace7430 - I've uploaded RVD's .Moveset file's that point to the correct entrance.  You can inject these using the aforementioned amazing Custom Character Tools by TheVisitorX, or you can take a .Moveset file you already have for RVD and point it to the entrance animation pac # 504.  

Note:  You may already know that RVD's ported entrance glitches badly in arenas without a ramp.  I'm not aware of any fix for this yet.

I've included two files.  One is if your RVD is in slot 256 and the other is 468 like Bannockburn's is setup on.

One other thing you might not be aware of, adding all the props files from 2k15 causes a few wierd glitches eg. Kings headset is sticking out of the side of his head, Big Bossmans nightstick is floating above his hand (those are the only ones Ive noticed so far)

Removing the other prop files apart from evt_prop_dlc60.pac fixes the problem.

I will be updating the archive to remove the problem prop files causing bossmans night stick issue, etc  and I will provide a list of exactly which files should be deleted in case you have already installed everything.  We'll get it fixed up.

Updated the first post with:

1. Trimmed down Hogan Kit download without unnecessary files

2. Guide to show what to delete if you installed the Hogan Kit before today (Thursday May 12, 2016 at 9:00 PM CST)

This should resolve any issues you had with props such as Bossman's nightstick.

@DefDave If possible, would you be able to upload a Hollywood Hogan when you have a chance? I tried Tekken's and LouEvil76's Hollywood Hogan with Boa but the entrance is messed up. There is no Boa and when he tears off his shirt there is no shirt.
