Cave Waverider Posted May 3, 2016 Posted May 3, 2016 Big Poppa Pump looks greet. Too bad you couldn't round out the chainmail mesh a bit, but it looks alot better in the game than on the screenshots as it is. Thank you! Quote
napolenehotel Posted May 3, 2016 Posted May 3, 2016 Hello! @Tekken did you have realeased an update of X packer, after the pac plus of Pozzzum? Quote

Too bad you couldn't round out the chainmail mesh a bit, but it looks alot better in the game than on the screenshots as it is. Thank you!Not enough verts in the object to shape it any better. This is as close as I could get it to the original object. Hello! @Tekken did you have realeased an update of X packer, after the pac plus of Pozzzum? It will take time to code. @robbie686, extract the 001a object from the in ring pach and inject it into the entrance pac. This will get rid of the mesh in the entrance. 1 Quote

tekken57 Posted May 4, 2016 Author Posted May 4, 2016 Sid ViciousHad to update that horrendous Sid model. Don't know what those guys at 2k are smoking but the detailing on the model looked like it was done by a two year old.- Completely new face textures- New normals and detailing on the face- New body textures- New entrance and ring gearI didn't want to edit the shape of the face as I would lose the facial animations, so I opted to get the face as close to the real thing via the textures and normals 3 Quote

They just used the old legends of wrestling model....Lazy bums. Edited May 4, 2016 by bravebird31 Quote
The Brand Posted May 4, 2016 Posted May 4, 2016 With some of the mods I've seen, the facial detail is pretty much worth the lose of animation vs what the face would look like. Or in general, the detail and textures look so good you don't care. That new Scott Steiner looks so good I don't give a damn about him having facial animations or not. Quote

B2Y Posted May 4, 2016 Posted May 4, 2016 (edited) amazing job on Sid can you please share your Sabu & Kurt Angel too Edited May 4, 2016 by B2Y Quote
tekken57 Posted May 4, 2016 Author Posted May 4, 2016 Based on these ref's I think the model is pretty close to Sid. Remember he gained a lot of weight as time progressed and the model scan is probably how he looks now: Quote
bravebird31 Posted May 4, 2016 Posted May 4, 2016 (edited) I think something a little closer to when he was like this would rock: Looking at the ref photo you provided, his face is a little more gaunt than the model, the shape of the eyes is off, his brow looks off to me as well. Also his mouth isn't wide enough to me. Can you use face gen with this image to get the proportions right? Also this pic might work as an effective face texture (With a little editing of course, it might distract from editing the model if you can clean it up enough to make a convincing skin). MountainMan Posted May 4, 2016 Posted May 4, 2016 That's a badass Sid Vicious, @Tekken57 ! I totally agree with not editing the shape as I prefer facial animations. Quote
Robbie686 Posted May 4, 2016 Posted May 4, 2016 @tekken57 can you inbox me please - I need to download x-rey again do you have the link please? Quote
Zolloft Posted May 4, 2016 Posted May 4, 2016 thank you for all your hard work. The sid is great, but i do have two things to point out. his elbowpad needs fixed (longer) see pic. boots should be longer, pretty much hogans but black with with socks visable below the kneepad(back mostly) see pic. also i have a png of the logo on the back of his elbowpad.http://postimg.org/image/3y5mcfc9t/ Quote

I like the Idea of face animations working too.... Maybe release 2 versions? Let people decide if they want/need the face animations or not... Just a thought. Quote
babaracus88 Posted May 5, 2016 Posted May 5, 2016 this one with the face animations looks really good the only thing i would try would be if you can do same style of hair just a bit shorter. But looks great already Quote
