Changing textures in Zbrush question???

Recommended Posts

Posted (edited)

Ok I recently found a way to bring the rocks model into zbrush and i was also able to bring in the texture maps on his face. Now my question is, can I change the textures like shown in this picture below and can I bring this texture map into the game. I want to start texturing this model so badly.  As you can see I added paint onto the face just to see if the textures will show on the texture map and it does show up on the map.

Did you add th painting to the head on Zbrush or Phtoshop? If it's on photoshop and you have it saved I can help you out, you need X-Packer BTW.

First off thanks for the response. You've been so helpful

Ok what I did was, in Zbrush, theres a way to add textures to the head threw photoshop. I used photoshop to add the textures to the head threw the "zapp link" feature in Zbrush, which allows you to jump from photoshop to zbrush adding textures & color. Yes I do have Xpacker......

Are you asking for me that if I can get that texture map onto photoshop, then you might be able to help? Dude I'm sure theres a way to save the texture map were working on in zbrush. There has to be a way I'm sure. Ive never done it yet, but I'm sure theres a way

Ok so when you're done drawing on the head, press export and save it as an obj, the texture file will be saved as BPE in the same file you saved the obj too (They will be three files, .obj, .mtl and .bpe. the BPE is the texture which you can then coonvert to DDS through photoshop.
