ItsVedaTime Posted October 8, 2015 Author Posted October 8, 2015 I notice that in the 000C, theres a second face. Do I need to edit that? Quote
LordJustice17 Posted October 8, 2015 Posted October 8, 2015 Okay how do i save it? I tried to reimport as a no alpha and it said it wasn't the same size as the originalNormals are usually DXT5 (rather than DXT1 like the other textures). Take a look at Tekken's texture tutorial, I believe he notes the exact photoshop settings. I notice that in the 000C, theres a second face. Do I need to edit that?I don't think it matters much since animations will need to be disabled once the face is sculpted, but I usually just inject the same face texture into both slots. Quote
ItsVedaTime Posted October 8, 2015 Author Posted October 8, 2015 One other thing. I need a skirt for my Veda Scott, which is going over AJ. Would I be able to take a skirt model from another game and import over AJ's trunks, or maybe mold AJ's tights into a skirt? Quote
LordJustice17 Posted October 8, 2015 Posted October 8, 2015 One other thing. I need a skirt for my Veda Scott, which is going over AJ. Would I be able to take a skirt model from another game and import over AJ's trunks, or maybe mold AJ's tights into a skirt? You probably could do it either way. Ideally you could use one from another character in 2k15, but I'm not sure if any of the current diva's have a skirt.Since it's not a major change in shape remodeling the tights might be the easiest route if there aren't any divas with skirts in 2k15. ItsVedaTime Posted October 8, 2015 Author Posted October 8, 2015 Lana is the only one I can think of. But the issue, LJ, is that the file is too big for AJ's model, as in size wise. Any way I can get it to match? I figure I could edit the skirt and shorten it then import it. Quote
LordJustice17 Posted October 8, 2015 Posted October 8, 2015 You can't import Lana's skirt obj into AJ's yobj. You have to hide everything except the skirt and then import Lana's whole yobj file into one of AJ's yobj slots. The basic process is:1) Use Bannockburn's anatomizer tool to hide AJ's tights in her 0000.yobj file.2) Use anatomizer to hide everything in Lana's 0000.yobj file except her skirt.3) Inject Lana's modified 0000.yobj file into AJ's 4E22.yobj slot (this is eyelids and doesn't make a noticeable difference once replaced).4) Extract all of AJ's 000A textures.5) Extract Lana's skirt textures including any normals and ao from her 000A file.6) Use XPacker to make a new texture archive with both AJ's 000A textures and Lana's skirt textures.7) Inject your new texture archive into AJ's 000A slot.8) If you get any "invisible parts" in game, inject the modified 00CE file into AJ's 00CE slot (you can find it at the download link in my thread). ItsVedaTime Posted October 8, 2015 Author Posted October 8, 2015 how do i hide something in anatomizer? Quote
LordJustice17 Posted October 8, 2015 Posted October 8, 2015 how do i hide something in anatomizer?1) Open the yobj in X-Rey and note the object numbers of the objects you want to keep.2) Open the yobj in Anatomizer and then reorder the objects so that all the ones you want to keep are at the top.3) Change the render count to the number of objects you want to keep and save. EX:Say Lana's skirt is listed as Object17 in X-Rey, you would reorder the objects in Anatomizer like this: Object17Object0Object1Object2...Object16Object18ETC Then, since you only want to render the skirt (Object17), you would change the render count from say 24, to 1 and save. Once changed only the first object in the list would be render. If you changed it to four the first four objects in the list would be rendered, etc. Basically just make sure the stuff you want is at the top and the stuff you don't want is at the bottom, then change the render count to however many objects you want. LordJustice17 Posted October 8, 2015 Posted October 8, 2015 Lana's skirt is named bottoms right? That sounds like it would be correct, but I'm not sure off the top of my head. Quote
