For a while now i have been trying to mod renders and they have not worked.So i changed the name of the wwe 2k14 menuhd.pac to Amenuhd.pac and edited it in the.def file and it worked.This method can be used for Superstar,Arena,Entrance,Movesets,Info and Render files.Credit to IamcrazyPT and Ahmed Fahmy for the Tutorials.

Are you using 2k14 now? Or are you using 2k15 with the render file from 2k14?

This sounds promising however when I renamed menuHD to AmenuHD and changed the name in the def file it corrupted my game data? What have I not done?

in the game folder is a file named "f.dat", delete this file and you should not get the "corrupted my game data" error

Interesting,

I deleted f.dat and it still gives me the error.  KIM666 any ideas from here.

I tried injecting the .def into the GAMES folder but nothing happend.

rocky did not mention andy's tutorial http://smacktalks.org/forums/topic/52435-andy´s-ps3-mods-whc-belt-collection/ (at the end of the first post). But it is important do fully understand this.

The game checks on every startup the "game/pac" folder and when a file has the wrong size or is renamed you get the "Game Data Corrupt" error. To bypass this we rename the modded files and place them in the "GAMES" folder and also rename the entry in the .def folder. The files in the "game/pac" folder need to stay original to bypass the check.

The modded eboot.bin removes this check, you still need to replace the files in the GAMES folder but you don't need to rename them anymore.

PS3 modders,

I have had some success in adding wrestlers to the ch377_03.pac etc but I am coming across some issues.

PACH not found in the arc error when I attempt to update the attires in Xpacker in certain slots on the 30 dummy.pac file. It appears to effect subsequent slots . Assume injecting a dummy pach and leaving it blank is the fix?

Some freezing after the entrance, black screen and ambient crowd sound,

If I add the movesets from cdlc to my save where do the .bik or bik2 files have to be copied to in order for the entrance to work?

Still a little unclear about the "menuHD to AmenuHD" to get renders on 2k14 as if I understand correctly AmenuHD.pac had to be placed in GAMES... but my game loaded when I kept it in the GAME folder.. 

 

Another question.. Do some 000XXXXX.pac pachs require dummy objects to work? for example with the Kurt angle medal hacked pach? Since we are not using the ch.pacs ? 

Had an attempt at making the disciple with the legends cdlc brutus as a base. My idea was to add a beard and hulks head ribbon but no luck yet.

1. The PACH/Attire not found is a bug in X-Packer here is a Tuorial to fix it

2. The "freezing after the entrance black screen" Error is PS3 related, it happens when you try to load a wwe2k15 ch.pac into 2k14. And also on tito and rick martell from bugsy's cdlc. A few days ago rj10018576 wrote a Tuorial to fix this

3. The movesets are a little bit different between 360 and ps3. It should be possible to convert the movesets, but i simply used the moveset from a ps3 caw. But it is important to inject the moveset of a official ps3 wrestler with x-packer or you won't have a entrance.

4. you rename the .bik2 to .bik and place it into the tron folder, in X-Packer you click on the moveset number and then you can change the tron number in the popup window.

5. For the renders, you need to open the menuHD file with x-packer and rename a slot from an official wrestler, e.g. the rock you would doubleclick on slot 100 and rename it to the cldc wrestler id of your choice then inject the render, the tricky part is you need to rename this entry also manually in the .arc file with a hexeditor.

It is always a good idea to take a look into the modding tutorial index even if it takes now ages to load this site after the forum upgrade (at least for me)
