Bale Posted September 17, 2014 Author Posted September 17, 2014 Bayern Munich are honestly so boring to watch. They always play this passing-possession style and it results in minimal goals and a lot of pass backs with the aim being that "possession = goals" will work when it doesn't. Not undermining their talent though because they do the style very well, but it makes their games frustrating to watch. Exactly that why i hate Barca matches but what we can do that's pep guardiola style. Quote
Miz_fit Posted September 17, 2014 Posted September 17, 2014 And Van Persie scored twice against Arsenal and didn't celebrate and when he did celebrate it was in Old Trafford during the beginning of Moyes's reign of terror when United needed that win against a top team Things is, it's not just about the goals, and the celebration, it's also about how he left the club. If you asked any Arsenal fan who's worse, RVP or Adebayor, I'd put money on them saying RVP. Adebayor had 3 years at Arsenal, and only one of his seasons were good. James Rodriguez had one season at Monaco, it was a good season, and went then went to Madrid. The only difference is Adebayor did it it, and was more of a dick about it. Robin Van Persie had 8 good seasons at Arsenal, and most of his success as a BPL striker came from Arsenal. But it's the way he left which annoyed most fans. Quote
Zark Posted September 17, 2014 Posted September 17, 2014 Bayern win in a 90th minute goal against City. Chelsea Draw against Schalke. Two big goal games, Porto 6 and Roma 5. Barca win by only 1 goal against a team I've never heard of. Good day for the Champions League. Quote
DrJoeyMagnum Posted September 17, 2014 Posted September 17, 2014 Wrong one FA Cup isn't him having "most of his success" League Medal>FA Cup Medal, Sure he played his best at Arsenal but seven years without any cup wins to show for it must have been frustrating for him so it's understandable why he would want to leave Quote

I can name a tonne of players who stayed at one club, and that club didn't always do well. Quote
SausageBarm Posted September 17, 2014 Posted September 17, 2014 Really didn't expect to see Chelsea draw. I like Schalke and all but I thought Chelsea would stroll by them today. Quote
VinceRusso Posted September 17, 2014 Posted September 17, 2014 Great victory for my club (Porto) brahimi is an excellent player, we really have a great team in terms of the first eleven and support players Quote
DrJoeyMagnum Posted September 17, 2014 Posted September 17, 2014 Well Van Persie DID want success and he wasn't going to get it with Arsenal, also yous might have kept him if you won the league cup in 2011 Quote

DrJoeyMagnum Posted September 17, 2014 Posted September 17, 2014 And he wouldn't have known that Quote
Miz_fit Posted September 17, 2014 Posted September 17, 2014 And he wouldn't have known that Doesn't take away the fact he was a dick to most Arsenal fans. Imagine if Steven Gerrrad wanted to win the BPL title, and moved to Manchester City, he probably would have won it, but all Liverpool fans would be on his back Quote

Bale Posted October 1, 2014 Author Posted October 1, 2014 (edited) PSG Without Zlatan Beat Barca 3-2 Barcelona need a lot of work in the defence because Their is no time until they face Real Madrid and with that defence this should be easy for Real Madrid And That Sounds Great.
