So long as Glen Johnson isn't in the team, i'm more than happy with the defence. Manquillo and Moreno look quality, Skrtel is probably the best centre back in the league after Kompany and Lovren looks decent. Also have decent back ups too, so it's just a matter of them getting familiar with each other.

Not really. It means a younger, hungrier player gets the chance to play and prove themselves. He's gotten lazy and stopped putting in the effort, so I think a reality check is what he needed. Sucks for him personally, and I don't wish injury on people, but it's a positive for the team that he is out of the picture.
