tekken57 Posted April 4, 2014 Author Posted April 4, 2014 @greenarcher, I flipped the axes to get the model to display correctly so the model will be mirrored. @overtheedge, I've never tried using the arena yobj's in x-rey. Nsieniski and UndertakerWLF have some done work on the arena's with x-rey, not sure if they were able to preview the objects. @kreative, either you have messed up the faces on the objects which you have edited or you are importing a different object with the same number of vertices. @sameh209, the programmes work for both consoles but the dlc functionality for wwe2k14 on the ps3 doesnt work 1 Quote
KREATIV Posted April 5, 2014 Posted April 5, 2014 I ´ve tried with Hogans belt (like in tutorial) step by step, preview still dont works? Another question is, when i´m finish with X-rey and I want to inject 0000.yobj back into a patch does I need to change it from 0000.yobj into 0000.pac. Quote
tekken57 Posted April 6, 2014 Author Posted April 6, 2014 Does the preview show the objects being messed up before you edit or only after you edit? If it is after you edit then check your settings in the export window of 3dsm again to ensure that you are exporting in the correct format. No you don't need to change the extension back to pac, it will inject correctly. Quote

If I edit some object, for example making boots or tights higher, wider, do I need to change Texture? I tried to test to see how it works in the game, but I get fatal crash, I´ m gona tried again. KREATIV Posted April 6, 2014 Posted April 6, 2014 Me again, X-Rey preview still dont work, but with moding I had success, I need to learn more about 3DS, I hope I´m gonna post some mods preview soon. Great stuff thanks Tekken. Quote
doctorhr2 Posted April 7, 2014 Posted April 7, 2014 (edited) I've been following the Xpacker 9 tut for injecting textures (http://sf4mods.blogspot.co.uk/2013/11/texture-modding-using-zlib-functions-in.html) but when I get to 'Open your Pach file using the CTRL + 3 function...' I get an error saying Index was outside the bounds of the array. Is there a step I've missed? It's probably something simple (me! ) P.S. It will open if I change the header to EPK8, just doesn't seem to want to open the .Pac file as is! Edited April 7, 2014 by doctorhr2 Quote
tekken57 Posted April 7, 2014 Author Posted April 7, 2014 All new pac files have an incorrect header which needs to be changed to EPK8 before you can work with it. @kreativ, the preview window is only meant to assist in determining which part you will edit. The actual editing is done in 3dsmax. Can you post some pics of the problems you are experiencing? Quote
doctorhr2 Posted April 7, 2014 Posted April 7, 2014 All new pac files have an incorrect header which needs to be changed to EPK8 before you can work with it. Great, thank you for that. Rather than getting a Pac named 0002, I'm getting 0002542.pac (I'm editing The Warrior - Ch254). Am I right in thinking it's okay to just inject this back into the ch254.pac or does it have to be renamed or changed in any way? Quote
tekken57 Posted April 7, 2014 Author Posted April 7, 2014 You only need to change the header once, then inject and extract as normal Quote
KREATIV Posted April 7, 2014 Posted April 7, 2014 Hey like I said X-rey works fine, editing works fine, only X-rey preview window dont works but ist not big deal. Quote
OverTheEdge Posted April 8, 2014 Posted April 8, 2014 Hey like I said X-rey works fine, editing works fine, only X-rey preview window dont works but ist not big deal. Sometimes you have to click the object name a few times or adjust the camera in the preview window to see it. It hardly ever just works on a single click. Quote
sandowwe Posted April 9, 2014 Posted April 9, 2014 @Tekken57 Just donated a certain amount of money. I'm looking forward to the tool! Thanks in advance! Quote
tekken57 Posted April 10, 2014 Author Posted April 10, 2014 (edited) @sandowwe, sent you an email. @ote, the helix framework works like that. For some reason it reads the vertice data off the screen sometimes. Spent a few days trying to fix this before the release of X-Rey but couldn't find a solution as it is a bug in the framework. OverTheEdge Posted April 10, 2014 Posted April 10, 2014 Oh, I wasn't complaining about it or anything. I was just letting him know what the deal was in case he didn't know you had to do that. If it takes a few times to get it to work, then so be it. As long as it works, I see no real issue. Quote
sandowwe Posted April 13, 2014 Posted April 13, 2014 Thanks, Tekken57! I've finally had success in inejcting CAWs, so I can say it was worthing buying it so far. Now I'm about to try to use the Community DLCs...let's see! Quote
shonpu Posted April 14, 2014 Posted April 14, 2014 tekken sometimes when I inject object it's diconnected from the model, I checked and the vetices are the same. AmI doing something wrong? Quote
LordBarker Posted April 14, 2014 Posted April 14, 2014 Hi getting a 'DataGridView' error when I try and open the misc_dlc03.pac (Ps3 version) in order to add attires. It says'Combo Box Cell Value is not valid' - any ideas!? Cheers Quote
tekken57 Posted April 15, 2014 Author Posted April 15, 2014 @shonpu, can you post a pic? I haven't seen this before. @lordbarker, you are probably opening the wrong misc.pac file. Quote
LordBarker Posted April 15, 2014 Posted April 15, 2014 (edited) I think that file is the correct one for the ps3 version - since Anabolica suggested it was. Regardless, I tried the one recommended for Xbox (misc01_start.pac) and have the same issue. It seems to start to load the attires then chucks up the error message below then crashes Any ideas? This is the error: Edited April 15, 2014 by LordBarker Quote
tekken57 Posted April 15, 2014 Author Posted April 15, 2014 You are using the wrong option in x-packer to open the mics file. you need to use the option under the wwe 2k14 menu. The misc.pac file type changed as the game now allows for 10 attires. Quote
shonpu Posted April 15, 2014 Posted April 15, 2014 I edited the boots, they have the same vertices from start to finish but this everytime Quote
rileyil77 Posted April 15, 2014 Posted April 15, 2014 Tekken57, Thanks you getting me serial at like 2:30 AM US Central Time. Anywho I went to download X-Rey too, but there is no link that says download here for it, only a pre-required software link. So, if we're not able to download, how are we to send you the $13.00 and our serial? LOL! Quote
Big_Gareth Posted April 16, 2014 Posted April 16, 2014 Hi Tekken I really want to purchase this tool and X Ray; I'm hoping to start modding soon. I downloaded X-Packer as instructed in the first post but when I open it up I get the same error message as gamingfan (post #157 of this thread)... 'unhandled exception has occurred....'. Hence I can't get the serial key to Paypal you. Is there a fix, I don't have another pc to try this on :-( Quote
sandowwe Posted April 17, 2014 Posted April 17, 2014 I guess this question has already been answered a million times before, but nevertheless: Is there a way to convert Superstars from WWE 13 to WWE2K14? Quote
