Requesting money for a modding tool ? that's pretty lame man ...

The comment of a guy who has no idea the process that was needed to get to this point, or who does and doesn't charge for tools.

What's with all the offense ! I'am sorry for saying my opinion -_-

For example:

<configuration>
    <system.windows.forms jitDebugging="true" />
</configuration>

When JIT debugging is enabled, any unhandled exception
will be sent to the JIT debugger registered on the computer
rather than be handled by this dialog box.

Anybody help ? haha i am stressing that i wont be able to add mods into this game :o

Well I don't want to sound like an asshole but You guys download the game for free from uTorrent and You blame the guy for saying it's lame? When You don't even pay for the game then why are You protecting a guy who makes people pay for a tool? YES it's a great tool but if he's not paying for the game why is he making the people pay for his tool? That's not fair.

PUR3 and Brienj wasted all their time making the tools and they made them for free, Because they actually care about making the community happy not just earning money.

Well Auday. I just feel that if a guy does want to charge. There just isn't any reason to complain about it. Actually Pur3 did charge for his tool last year (I bought it) then he released it for free. I have no problem with it. Hell, I saw him say in his thread that he wasn't going to update his tool this year because no one donates. It might have been a joke, Idk. I just feel like, hey if they charge, don't buy it. Why complain. we didn't pay for the game, but I'm sure guys paid to get their xbox exploited. Just my opinion.

Love your caws man. No disrespect. Just debating a bit.

I understand Your point, I don't really care if he charge for it or not since I don't even own a JTAG but I was just throwing my opinion about it because they all went nuts on the guy. :)

Why do you automatically assume just because someone owns a jtag/rgh they torrent all their games? I myself have for years bought the game for my retail 360 & PS3 each year, and then I rip my own paid for copy to use own my RGH. I have no problem paying for something someone has worked their ass off to make.

I've already explained my reasons for charging for my tools and won't be drawn into a discussion to further discuss. If you don't want to donate for the tool then use the free version of x-packer 8.1. I've already shared the knowledge of how to do most of everything which is done with x-packer, use a hex editor if you don't want to pay for version 9.

I've contributed a lot to this community over the years by releasing free tools, writing up tutorials, providing endless user support and releasing countless mods. It really ticks me off to have guys who have barely done anything for the community to come into my thread and talk about caring about the community. you talk about other developers, yet there hasn't been a tool to add dlc or to edit models in years. This is because no one shared the knowledge before and it takes time and effort from experienced developers to code tools. Time which can be easily be applied to working on commercial projects.

By all means, you are entitled to your opinion, but please do not clutter this thread as it is meant to provide user support to users who have donated towards the program.

@mitchjo2345 The issue you are experiencing is still related to user permissions, you probably don't have full access to "g:" drive. Try copying the arc file to another folder and then updating it.

Again I meant no disrespect, I know how much work You put into this and how much time, Like I said I was just throwing my opinion about it that You never paid for the original game to make them pay for Your tool. :)

You remember when The European Cracker cracked it? You got mad right? then what's the reaction of 2K jobbers when the game gets leaked and people like You download it for free? It's the same shit bro. :p

Also no sir, I have helped the community maybe not as much as You did but I did.

Not everyone does this but 90% of people who owns JTAG/RGH does this.

I recall you buying some pirated games as well, Auday. I may be wrong, but I remember you saying something like that.

Yes I do, Come to syria and if You find any original game in any store You can spit in my face, They only sell PS3 original games here, And in general even PS3 original ones are hard to find, I traveled like 6 months ago to UAE and I bought 2 original games+ XBOX live membership and points, If I didn't want to pay for those games I could've got them for less price from here.

The fact is I would pay if there was original games here at least I would get an online access code for free rather than paying for it from my points.

There you go. You buy pirated games. You may not have a choice, but you do it. Therefore, you have no right to criticise anyone else who pirates games. Games can be bought online, but you choose do it what's easier for you and buy them from the local market. People with JTAGs download games because they feel that's easier for them.

For the record, I purchase my games as I have a both a retail ps3/xbox as well as a jtag/jailbroken version. I play online frequently, not just wwe games and my originals are used to play online.

I own most of the original versions of the previous wwe games dating back to wwf attitude as well, due to the fact that until recently internet connection speeds in my country are extremely slow.

Anyways we're going off topic here, please stay on topic.

Great programs anyway! :)

sorry, Tekken.. it's just Auday touched on something that really irritates me. Auday, whether people buy games or whether they choose to torrent them, who are you to judge peoples actions in the privacy of their own homes? I buy legit and then sometimes I torrent. What does any of that have to do with X-Packer 9? Ok, so downloading a pirated copy of the game may be illegal, but reverse engineering for personal use in the privacy of someones home, is not. if that person then chooses to contribute mods / hacked CAW's, whatever, that's then on them.

hi there Tekken, while previewing model in Xrey, I noticed that arms textures were interchanged.

Posted

Pretty sure the models are just display mirrored within the program. When it's in the game it'll be fine.

So, about arenas and X-Rey. I know I've seen El Buvor doing work with the arena models, yet anytime I try and load a yobj from them into X-Rey, it always gives me an error. Even if I do hit continue, it will never load up any of the objects in the preview panel.

Help, display on X-ray dont works right, when I want to preview edited object I get something like this (pic by IamCrazyPT)
