jcsix Posted February 27, 2014 Posted February 27, 2014 Thanks! I tried that when it was compressed (the default file) and nothing. But I didn't try it when it was uncompressed. I Only did Ctrl + X. Thanks for that Quote
jcsix Posted March 1, 2014 Posted March 1, 2014 Is there any way with X-packer to edit an attire slots entrance? Best example I can give is the Retro Rock how the WM19 attire has a different movie/theme. Or does that just depend on the pach slot of a ch. Quote
Mathayus Posted March 1, 2014 Posted March 1, 2014 I don´t think we can edit that in X-Packer. You can´t assign an entrance for a specific slot. Quote
OverTheEdge Posted March 1, 2014 Posted March 1, 2014 Is there any way to add entries/items to the evtobj? I was pretty surprised to see that RTWM cutscenes from '12 worked when imported into 2K14 (especially since I was trying things the other way around for the last month, trying to get 2K14 stuff into '12), only--as you'd expect--some of the items in them don't appear since they were only in the evtobj from '12. I didn't really want to make Ministry Taker have his own Slot. But I guess I'll have to. I'm curious if his winning animation will be used if I copy his info into a new slot. I'm not 100% sure on that actually. Its one thing I'v been looking into with adding entrances/pyro and that to the game but had no luck right now. I wouldn't see why you can't though considering we can add new menuHD pacs. Quote
Judders Posted March 1, 2014 Posted March 1, 2014 Didn't someone put Bossman's nightstick into the game for his entrance? Quote
IamCrazyPT Posted March 1, 2014 Posted March 1, 2014 Didn't someone put Bossman's nightstick into the game for his entrance? Yes, RedRooster did it. But i think that he replaces by an other object Quote
OverTheEdge Posted March 1, 2014 Posted March 1, 2014 Didn't someone put Bossman's nightstick into the game for his entrance? Bossman's nightstick is still in 2K14's evtobj.pac. Mathayus Posted March 2, 2014 Posted March 2, 2014 Mabe adding that pacs like DLC´s in the same way Tekken added the menuHD_dlc1.pac. Maybe that works with other things like entrance objects, pyros... Quote
tekken57 Posted March 13, 2014 Author Posted March 13, 2014 (edited) X-Rey version 1.1 released. the program has been emailed to everyone who has donated. Edited March 13, 2014 by tekken57 Quote
OverTheEdge Posted March 13, 2014 Posted March 13, 2014 Got the email this morning. Thanks, Tekken! Though it looks like you may have accidentally included the link to the first version instead of the new one. Quote
tekken57 Posted March 13, 2014 Author Posted March 13, 2014 Thanks for pointing that out. The text is actually the link, my email seems to have linked it incorrectly. Copy the link from the email and paste it into your browser to download the correct file. Quote

GreenArcher Posted March 14, 2014 Posted March 14, 2014 (edited) This might be a stupid question but I'm going to ask it anyway. Do I need a high end PC to be able to do mods with XRey? I'm using an ASUS netbook with nvidia ion and an atom processor. Which 3ds max version should I use that will run on my laptop? Edited March 14, 2014 by GreenArcher Quote
Mathayus Posted March 14, 2014 Posted March 14, 2014 About 3DS Max: 2011 is the latest version you can use cause the brienj´s plugin only work from 2009 to 2011 version I think. About X-Rey: You don´t need an powerfull PC to run X-Rey. It´s 3DS Max what you need to get running in your PC or laptop. Quote

tekken57 Posted March 14, 2014 Author Posted March 14, 2014 I suggest you download a trial version of 3dsmax and run it on your pc. X-Rey doesn't require very high specs. Quote

Need to be sure my laptop can handle modding before I purchase XRey. BTW, I have a question with community dlc 2. I added your original comm dlc 1 with no problem. But then I tried adding comm dlc2, but when I edited the arc files, I always get 194kb file size. Any idea? Quote
tekken57 Posted March 14, 2014 Author Posted March 14, 2014 I reduced the arc size after community dlc 2. Try the one from community dlc 3. Quote
GreenArcher Posted March 14, 2014 Posted March 14, 2014 (edited) When i added your community dlc 1, i did manual edit to the arc files. The file became 191kb which is still ok. When i added comm dlc 2.. the arc file became 194kb which caused the fatal crash. how can i reduce the arc file myself? I already deleted all the zeroes after FF FF FF FF. what else should I do? can i add all 3 community dlc without exceeding the allowed arc file size? Edited March 14, 2014 by GreenArcher Quote
GreenArcher Posted March 14, 2014 Posted March 14, 2014 I reduced the arc size after community dlc 2. Try the one from community dlc 3. ok, the arc file from community dlc 3 worked for me. but still I would like to know how you reduced the size of the arc file. Quote

There's a lot of 'junk' data at the end of the file that can be deleted Quote
tekken57 Posted March 14, 2014 Author Posted March 14, 2014 There were extra files being referenced in the arc which was not needed, I removed the references. Quote
GreenArcher Posted March 14, 2014 Posted March 14, 2014 I guess it's too complicated.. anyway, i managed to add all 3 community dlcs with just some minor problems like black screen on entrances for demolition and freezing when selecting curtis axel. I think updating the arc files should solve these problems.. for future community dlc and in case I would like to add some wrestlers from wwe 13, i will just use the arc file included in comm dlc3. thanks for the patience and for the help to get these to work.
