Judders Posted September 29, 2014 Posted September 29, 2014 I have no idea what you made the tombstones out of... Chairs? Quote
XIII XHP Posted September 29, 2014 Posted September 29, 2014 Are the Tombstones made out of the broken seat of the chair? I was wondering how you made them... I also noticed the Halloween Havoc logo is on the floor right before the skull on the stage & they didn't use the steel stands w/ lights, either, & the WCW logo on the Phantom's head is the same purple & yellow one from the Halloween Havoc logo (it's also placed up a little higher & extends out more. Idk if you can use the WCW steel logo from the Nitro arena or if you could thin it out to place it over the skull head). Also, there are red WCW logos on top of the two side tron video structures. Is there a way you can change the ref to the classic blue shirt attire for this specific arena? Is there a ref in every arena file? Not really sure how that works... That, & change the barricades to the Create an Arena guard rails. Knowing you, you probably have all these details lined up, anyway, just noticed them when I looked back @ the picture. I'm really liking the way this arena is turning out, though. The Slim Jim turnbuckle covers look awesome! Ring mat is on point! Good shit! Quote
XHP Original Posted September 29, 2014 Posted September 29, 2014 Fantasic work with that Halloween Havoc arena man, looks like you have a knack for doing these WCW arenas.. Quote

I'm really liking the way this arena is turning out, though. The Slim Jim turnbuckle covers look awesome! Ring mat is on point! Good shit! The Tombstones are made out of the casters (little wheels) off the bottom of the boxes and cases near the entrance. The crosses are made out of 2 boxes squashed and joined together. Thanks for your suggestions, some are already planned and some arent going to be possible. I cant remove the steel stands with lights, they are part of the original arena and if I move them then the lights are just magically shining out of nothing which looks wierd. I dont know how to move the actual lighting so that will probably stay as is. The WCW logo on the skull is just a place holder at the moment Im going to try to make a 3D version. I will add the slim jim logos and pumpkins to the entrance way and logo on the floor. I might try replacing the barricades if I can be bothered but I havent decided. Quote
IamCrazyPT Posted September 29, 2014 Posted September 29, 2014 I'm trying to understand this. You edit an yobj file on 3ds max. Then you extract it as .obj and inject it? Quote
Titavius Posted September 29, 2014 Posted September 29, 2014 (edited) I dont know how to move the actual lighting so that will probably stay as is. If you go into your texture archive, you'll see a bunch of textures that begin with "beam". Load them all up in photoshop, and black out the alphas, and the lights will vanish in-game. You'll have no actual lights, but you can still move the light YOBJ's around for effect. I'm trying to understand this. You edit an yobj file on 3ds max. Then you extract it as .obj and inject it? A YOBJ is just a container. Inside the YOBJ could be any number of OBJ's, and when loaded up in-game they make, or rather, the YOBJ makes up one object. X-Rey will open a YOBJ, you should then see each obj listed. You can only replace a single obj file with the same file (edited) or with a file of the same size. Once you've injected your obj's into the YOBJ, you can then inject that back into your pach file. Edited September 29, 2014 by Titan83 Quote
