I haven't updated my tutorial video, but the process works great. Importing WEMS is super easy, just like with any other version of Sound Editor. So far, I've probably imported over 2000 lines of commentary, ring announcements, etc. Keep in mind, this is for the Xbox360 version. I can't testify to the compatibility of the PS3 version working with Sound Editor.
Also, bear in mind that you still have to create your WEMS manually in WWise as opposed to the other versions of Sound Editor, which can automatically covert WAVS to WEMS with the built in tool. For whatever reason, this version of SE just can't do that for WEMS. So, it's a bit tedious, but not hard. Just follow the 2nd half of my tutorial video, starting around the 11 minute mark.
I've asked to see if someone can create a batch file that automates this process, but no response in that thread as of yet. In this day of AI, seems like it would very possible to just run a batch file that runs the WEM creation process in WWise with the necessary settings. I actually asked Chat GPT to come up something and it did, but it was a bit beyond my scope of understanding trying to implement it.
@Hollywood Akeem was there some other particular question you had or update you were looking for?
