NTSC Question

Hey, I recently grabbed an AR but my copy of DOR is NTSC. Do any of the codes posted here work for the version? Is anyone working on codes for NTSC? Thanks for your help.

erm yea the Caw tool thing stickied in this forum has NTSC support, all i can say is read the document that comes with it...and gscentral.com has a few NTSC codes, some ports of mine etc. There shouldnt be much else you need.

Thanks man, I have another question for ya. After playing with your tool for a bit yesterday, I got the gist, but, I was wondering about other addresses and values for the game. Weapons, arenas, etc. Also, can you point me in the direction for how to find addresses/values for other games? Thanks man.

To hack other games head back to gscentral.com and hunt down GCNrd. Youll need to hook your GCN up to your PC In a network though. After that, I cant help you as its all changed from when i did it; i dont believe you need PSOI+II anymore. The easiest type of hacking is using sappharads GCN DVD browser which will just let you swap model and texture etc files around, if the game is written that way (this is how i unlocked the Velocity arena.) Just scour the web (i hope you dont mind, but ive been through this ALOT of times. Its not your fault, but you can imagine how tedious it is). As for addresses pertaining to this game but not CAW mode etc? Erm, good luck. Use GCNrd as i said. Getting colour mods for arenas may not be soo hard if you know what your looking for...but stuff like No Mercy is impossibly hard. The only texture swap i got working was ropes on the ring mat...yeah : / And weapon swaps are possible but you need to really sit down and think for about a week solid. And you need to rip the game to your HD. Which i dont think, legally, i can say how.

All in all id say dont bother going out of your way to hack DOR, i hacked pretty much all thats worthwhile. That sounds egotistical, but...yea.

LMAO man, thanks for the help, the last time I got into this was with my GBA so I wasn't sure what I'd need etc. etc. And I asked about weapons and the like just b/c I've seen so much posted about it and stuff like weapons on top of HIAC etc. Provided I link the cube up, I'll let ya know what I come up with if anything for this and link to other posts for other games I dabble with.
