What Would Make This Forum Better?

Recommended Posts

Alright, if none of you know me, I'm Heart Breaker. I'm a guy who loves to make sure you guys enjoy these forums. I'm not here to bash you. I'm not here to close any topics. (Unless they go way off-topic.)

I want your opinion on what are some things that would make this forum better. If you have no suggestions, let me know. Tell me everything in this forum is perfect for you. If you have a suggestion, don't hesitate to let me know what you think would make this forum better. If you have any requests at all, please let me know. I'll take them all into consideration, unless they are ridiculous. ;) I'm going to stick this topic for a week and see what you all have to say. After that, I'll unstick it and see what things I can do to make it better.

Thanks guys for the feedback. And I hope we can make this forum a bit better with your input.

1.) Sticky Request Topics for codebreaker gameshark....etc it will take up a little more room however it will hopefully reduce the amount of crap posts made there

2.) Possibly a code index where you list the codes posted alphebetically and a link to the post where it comes from or just posting the code ( i'd help out if you need any help)

3.) if theres a way you can delete a lot of the crap topics made in there that'd be awesome also.

I'm pretty sure I could try to do that. You're right, it would take ALOT of space, but if people end up agreeing with you in this topic that it is needed, I'll be glad to do it.

Wow, That's a hard request. ;) But I guarantee we might be able to make it happen. I get a break from my busy schedule in a little over a week. So I could try to gather up the codes with the help of members who want to help and we'll see if we can make that happen.

Well, I hate to tell you this, but I can't delete topics. I can only delete my own. But I can edit people's posts, and close them as well. So if there is some topic that I feel the need has no point to hacking in this forum, if people request, I will close the topic. It doesn't mean I will close every topic made that goes a little off-topic. It doesn't mean anything like that at all. But if I feel the need that the topic is getting out of hand, and has no point, and it's just a useless topic, I will close it.

If you are serious, I could see if LEGEND Fly would allow there to be a seperate forum only for the sticky topics. It is getting ridiculous. That's why I'm only keeping this topic up for a week.

Make another forum for the stickies like I said. You could put it in that forum Paul made with the Hacking Tutorials, but change the name of the forum or whatever, it's just annoying all the stickies in your face!

I could help you out with the alphabetical archiving if you wanted, HB?

Instead of deleted posts, just move them somewhere, like the SD2 forum, and don't leave a link to it on this forum, just don't tell anyone and no-one will notice ;)!

:lol I might just try that sometime Iain. Yeah, I'll ask LEGEND about a name change for the Hacking Tutorial Forum so I can put the Stickies in there as well.

And yeah, I really would appreciate it if someone like you wouldn't mind helping me archive those forums. Thanks for the input Iain. I'm going to PM Sup@ Fly right now about the name change. (Yeah, I'm sick of seeing LEGEND.)

Alright, well, all the stickies are now in the Hacking Archive forum. So now it's easier to search for codes and there's more room for topics on the first page. So if you are wondering where they are, that's where they're located.

If you need to delete posts or move them to somewhere people cant view them, move them to archve topics.

Alright, Thanks Paul. Well, this topic has been here longer than a week so it's time to take it down. Thanks for the suggestions everyone.

1) a code index

2) that the code forum gets updated...you are missing MANY codes that are at Code-X (Trigin's main site)..you ought to take a look there and add what you are missing...He has tons there.

I'd like a Hack Index like Code X has but more in depth with some seperate subfolders for the cheat devices and the regions to make it more easy to find certion codes for your cheat device and your region.

Yeah people making rival boards that will never amount to anything, is really pointless.

I think this is a good site, and we cant really do anything for more people to come to this site and join. but there are still alot of members on this site. But, I do agree with DRAVEN. This site is starting to die.
