moongoose07 Posted December 23, 2004 Posted December 23, 2004 hey everyone, i highly doubt anyone remembers me, but I used to hack a lot of shit for Smackdown 1 and 2 for ps1. You can probbaly still find some codes out there under my name. If anyone remembers Geodim or Slim then they might remember me. But that was a while ago. Anyway, I haven't been at it for a long time and I just bought DOR for GC. I was wondering if anyone could give me the low down as far as what I need to hack and how to do it. Is it anything like the Gameshark for PS1? 'Cause I think i'm pretty good at that kind of shit. Someone let me know what they used to hack this game and I'd love to help out on some codes. -Kevin
Chillalex Posted December 23, 2004 Posted December 23, 2004 Yo, i remember the name but i cant remember precisely what you hacked. i swear ive been through this alot of times, but i cant see where I posted it, so... anyways, to properly hack this game (mem editor etc) youll need a lot of shit. You need- Phantasy Star Online I+II (not the rerelease, either) PSOLoader 2.0 or PSULoad (the latter which i used) Gamecube broadband adaptor (not modem) A way of connecting your GCN to a network (I just used an RJ45 Crossover cable from the GCN to my NIC) A network card or whatever theyre called, in your PC (which you probably have) Action Replay (obviously) And a load of programs from www.gscentral.com, which is experiencing downtime, as usual (You need GCNrd from there (remote debugger, the main tool) and id recommend GCNCrypt (obviously!) and GCNcthelper, because its pretty helpful! Also, while at gscentral when its working, Id recommend reading up on GCN code types) If youve got all that, or, you still want to hack DOR and are willing to get all that, then let me know *im not sure if PSO is a necessity now, i think the max drive pro might be able to be used? youd best check up on gscentral or dextrose.
