WWE Revolution Posted December 18, 2004 Posted December 18, 2004 I've been practising hacking with that DoR Hacking Tool (nice tool ) but I wandered if it is possible to hack other CAWs, not only the first one on the memory card. If that is possible could (forgot the maker) update the program?
CaMacKid Posted December 18, 2004 Posted December 18, 2004 (edited) Hey you came, cool. Yes, you can add the offsets of the other CAWs to the addresses. Address Value 00000000 00000000 CAW Offsets CAW 2=000017F8 CAW 3=00002FF0 CAW 4=000047E8 CAW 5=00005FE0 CAW 6=000077D8 CAW 7=00008FD0 CAW 8=0000A7C8 CAW 9=0000BFC0 CAW 10=0000D7B8 CAW 11=0000EFB0 CAW 12=000107A8 CAW 13=00011FA0 CAW 14=00013798 CAW 15=00014F90 CAW 16=00016788 You add those to the address by using the Hex calculator in Windows Calculator. So lets say... 0414F3AB is a address. 0414F3AB+0000EFB0 = whatever comes out. Then put it with the value, Encrypt, and there ya go! Edited December 18, 2004 by Camachokid
WWE Revolution Posted December 19, 2004 Author Posted December 19, 2004 (edited) ^ = Very Useful Thanks a lot, CAW Evo.. I believe you made a mistake XD Thats got everything straight, so a big thanks to you! Ill be saving this. Edited December 19, 2004 by WWE Revolution
Chillalex Posted December 19, 2004 Posted December 19, 2004 yo. Yea, thats right; I believe it was in the readme...but there ya go. I might update the tool but obviously, it means adding the offsets line by line to 16 CAWs, for two regions...thats about 3200 lines of code by hand, which i dno, seemed kinda pointless when ppl cud do it with windows calc...but it WOULD Make it quicker...hmm!
tokidoim Posted December 19, 2004 Posted December 19, 2004 All the codes are saveable. Just keep the CAW 1 slot open for new CAWs. After you make one, move it to a different slot, that changes made will follow over. nosig
Jarkota Posted December 22, 2004 Posted December 22, 2004 I'm using Windows 98....does my Windows calc have a hex thingie in it?
Chillalex Posted December 22, 2004 Posted December 22, 2004 it should do (tho ive never used win 9x) or you can just use the hex offset function on the converter found here: http://hellion00.thegfcc.com/bonus.html Only use it if you know what youre doing though....but i prefer it as you can copy and paste, and you only have to press one button.
Jarkota Posted December 27, 2004 Posted December 27, 2004 (edited) That site's bandwidth limit has been exceeded. How do I access/use the hex calc in Windows? The only experience I really have with hex code on my PC was using a hex editor in Star Trek: Generations to give me unlimited photon torpedoes. Edited December 28, 2004 by Jarkota
