A few Hacking Questions I have

Recommended Posts

I've been practising hacking with that DoR Hacking Tool (nice tool :)) but I wandered if it is possible to hack other CAWs, not only the first one on the memory card. If that is possible could (forgot the maker) update the program? :/

Hey you came, cool.

Yes, you can add the offsets of the other CAWs to the addresses.

Address Value

00000000 00000000

CAW Offsets

CAW 2=000017F8

CAW 3=00002FF0

CAW 4=000047E8

CAW 5=00005FE0

CAW 6=000077D8

CAW 7=00008FD0

CAW 8=0000A7C8

CAW 9=0000BFC0

CAW 10=0000D7B8

CAW 11=0000EFB0

CAW 12=000107A8

CAW 13=00011FA0

CAW 14=00013798

CAW 15=00014F90

CAW 16=00016788

You add those to the address by using the Hex calculator in Windows Calculator.

So lets say...

0414F3AB is a address.

0414F3AB+0000EFB0 = whatever comes out.

Then put it with the value, Encrypt, and there ya go!

yo. Yea, thats right; I believe it was in the readme...but there ya go. I might update the tool but obviously, it means adding the offsets line by line to 16 CAWs, for two regions...thats about 3200 lines of code by hand, which i dno, seemed kinda pointless when ppl cud do it with windows calc...but it WOULD Make it quicker...hmm!

All the codes are saveable. Just keep the CAW 1 slot open for new CAWs. After you make one, move it to a different slot, that changes made will follow over.

I'm using Windows 98....does my Windows calc have a hex thingie in it?

it should do (tho ive never used win 9x) or you can just use the hex offset function on the converter found here:

http://hellion00.thegfcc.com/bonus.html

Only use it if you know what youre doing though....but i prefer it as you can copy and paste, and you only have to press one button.

That site's bandwidth limit has been exceeded. How do I access/use the hex calc in Windows? The only experience I really have with hex code on my PC was using a hex editor in Star Trek: Generations to give me unlimited photon torpedoes. :p
