Unable to create a new CAW

So I recently retired and deleted one of my CAWs, and when I went to make a new one, found that it wouldn't save them. The finalise button brings up the save spinny at the bottom, but does not close the creator as it usually does. When I reload the edit screen, the slot remains empty. Anyone have any idea how to fix this?

I think you should restart the game or try saving the new CAW in a different empty slot. If it still fails, go to Options → Deletion Utility and remove unused images/CAW data.
