Hollywood Akeem Posted Saturday at 04:03 AM Posted Saturday at 04:03 AM (edited) Source the Hidden Palace: https://hiddenpalace.org/File:WWE_'13_(Aug_27,_2012_prototype)_disc.png So today I discovered a hidden developer console in a pre-release August 2012 build of WWE '13. The game plays just like WWE '13, although its a bit slower (things take forever to load) and you can see debug messages when things are loading into the next scene. Connecting a keyboard to the Xbox 360, and pressing the F1 key allows you to open the console. Pressing it again allows you to get an expanded view. This console operates more like a command-line shell rather than a live developer overlay. I discovered some commands and its console interface controls through trial and error. Console Access and Behavior F1 toggles the console: First press opens it. Second press expands the view. Third press closes it. The console responds only when specific valid parameters are given. TAB cycles through recognized command stubs. PAGE UP/DOWN scrolls through past outputs. Arrow keys cycle through command history. Confirmed Working Commands DIR Usage: >DIR [path] Reveals file listings, metadata, and timestamps. Can explore both local (D:) and DLC (DLCX:) drives. Just follow this format after writing DIR. Dont mind the Yen (¥) logo. You will actually be typing backslash "\" on the keyboard. Ex: DIR D:\PAC\BG\BG00.PAC is written as DIR D:¥PAC¥BG¥BG00.PAC. For some reason pressing "\" on keyboard will show up as ¥, but it functions the same. ENTRYLOG Reveals game asset load history. Echoes contents from plist360.def. The picture your seeing above is after typing the command ENTRYLOG. It loads the plist360.def files in the DLC directory first. CLS Clears the console window. Optional argument CMD appears in hints, but no behavioral change. HELP Lists recognized command stubs. GAMELOG Syntax: >GAMELOG /OUTPUT >GAMELOG /COMMENT "text" /OUTPUT fails, possibly due to missing log write location. /COMMENT silently accepts input, unclear if saved. Commands with Invalid Input or Stub Behavior COLOR [value] → Always returns "value is invalid" YMEMLOG [value] → Invalid unless valid param passed WINDOW [value] → Invalid MOVESET [id] → Invalid even with character IDs SNDCMD → Returns "Command Operation Error" SAVECMD → Returns "Command not found" Some of these commands may work, especially the ones that say "command not found," on other menus such as start menu, Create a Moveset, ingame, etc. For example, I found a command called >AtractDemo Which is only available in the Start Menu. I assume its to go straight to the Demo mode. Entering the command doesnt do anything unfortunately. File System Findings Game content is organized under familiar asset folders: D:\PAC\CH\CHXXX.PAC for character models D:\MOVIES for intro videos (e.g., logo.bik2) <--- it follows the file structure of the WWE '13 folder. Root foler is D : DLC assets mount under virtual drives (e.g., DLC0:\PAC) I need your help Let me know if anyone else can find out what the other console commands do. That would help alot! Smacktalks Posted Saturday at 09:10 AM Posted Saturday at 09:10 AM This is a really cool find! I remember someone posted a video of the debug version years ago that showed the menus with a few basic commands. 1 Quote

It looks like they were able to find out another couple of debug commands through the xbox controller. I'll take a look at these in a bit. Quote
