How Do I Replace Existing Arenas Using Pac Editor? (PS3

I have an ECW One Night Stand arena pac that I would like to replace the default ECW arena with I attempted this once already by first finding the BG02.PAC file and opening it in Pac Editor then selected the STG_\0002.pac file from the file list and clicked the inject file option and used the ECW ONS pac. Afterwards I updated the plistPS3.arc file and to be safe I also updated the plistPS3_4x3.arc file as well and using MultiMAN overwrote the existing pac and arc files with the updated ones and booted the game and it was stuck in a "Now Loading" loop. Is there anything I did wrong?
