PacPlus and CAWless

Hi, I think this is a bit of a long shot as I am not sure how many people still check in here - 

Just wondering if anyone had much success with WRESTLEPlus' PacPlus and going partially CAWless?

I was checking out this excellent thread 

But I was hoping to be a little more selective on which CAW slots to replace. 

I had a try at installing one of the mods from the thread just to test and saw what it did to PacPlus, so then I reverted to my original files and had a try at editing PacPlus in just one or two slots to mirror the mod. 

PacPlus didn't seem to like my changes, and I couldn't get any of them to 'stick' once I exited the window.

I cannot seem to find any sort of guide to either PacPlus or CAWless mod so I'm just hoping someone on these forums might be able to give me some pointers please?

 

I think I only want/need to free up about 10 CAW slots in total
