Hello I tried the tool it works but after modfying a slot putting jeff hardy in it,I couldn't load the save it says "Save game is corrupt". Maybe you can tell me what I should do or point me into the right direction?Many thanks!

I've never used ERI's tool, but I've managed to do it with X-Packer. You can also try even with the initial free version (v8 I think). 

The important thing is to extract the "savegame.dat" inside the save game file (with Horizon, for example). Then you can edit the extracted file, replace with the new one (inside Horizon) and most importanly click "Rehash and Resign" - without this last step you will see the "Save Game is Corrupt" message.

thank you for the info! But I have found a different workaround,for ps2 there is a cheat file to bypass that error. I'll leave it here for future people:

it seems those 2k overhaul modder people use this too, as I have found it on the cheat file that comes with their mods
